My harsh review of this tyre is based on the car that they are on because I have no doubt they would be fantastic on a different vehicle. Generally, the comfort is outstanding despite the stiff suspension on the GR86 and i believe these tyres would suit this car only if the driver was using purely as a daily and driving normally. Under hard acceleration and on loose asphalt, they have struggled to maintain grip but ironically they perform better in the wet and even better on the highway. The HP's would better suit a car that has mild performance with larger rims to get the benefit of a true "Touring" tyre, but would recommend getting a set of performance-focused tyres to maximise handling on the GT model of this range.

For a low rolling resistance tyre they do hang on ok when treated a little mean. They aren't pretty, and they aren't sexy, but 60000km of neglect and they still live me back means they are doing something right.

These tyres came standard and are a perfect fit. When driving fast, cornering hard, the tyres glue the car to the road, whether wet or dry conditions.  The 86 is just a fun car as well ! The tyres are getting low  now, so might make it to 75-80,000 before needing replacement, but this is good life for a performance tyre!

One of my favourite things about these tyres, along with their confidence on gravel roads, is their rim protection that ensures safe parking along curbs.
