Great tyres although they are quite noisy, as to be expected with semi slicks. Once they’re up to temp have absolutely no issues gripping up in the dry provided that the wet performance isn’t perfect but they’re still way ahead of standard econo or even entry level directional tyres.

On the track the Advans were fantastic and are a fantastic street track tyre. The price is the only real disadvantage. The reason I go to the RE003 for my all round street track tyres over the AD08R's is the price and wet weather performance. If money weren't a factor I'd run these every time.

When the tyre tread more than 70% in wet performance are moderate, below 60% are really bad. Driving like a lizard during raining.

Ok I want to make absolutely clear that these tyres are not cheap even in 205/55/16 Nor are they the most grippy in the wet, you need to be aware. But in the dry god these are good, the C-Class is fluid handler on "normal" rubber but jesus did it elevate its handling, the mid corner pace is amazing. Noise wise, it's ok, if you’re in a car with less sound insulation you'll notice the noise from them. The noise is a small price to pay for the handling benefits. Braking wise they're amazing and work beautifully in conjunction with modern ABS systems seamlessly.
