I was always a Pirelli driver but was recommended threes by a friend who owns a tyre retail outlet. After a bit of research found that Toyo designed these tyres specifically for AWD crossover vehicles. Got them fitted to the X3 and they are the best tyre I have owned for all round performance. 35000 km on them now and about 60% worn. Wouldn't consider another tyre for next time round, will definately get these again. Of note went from 235/55/17 to235/60/17 without any issues.
