Have done 40000km in 18 months on these. Looks like they will last about 80000km. Dry road grip is excellent as is the comfort and low noise. Wet weather grip is poor. Probably will look for something that's better in the wet next time.

I bought these for a hardy tyre for off-road travel where damage wouldn’t have been a good outcome, but keeping in mind that they spend most of their time on the bitumen. They’re fine in the dry but, oh boy, can they be scary in the wet. Twice now I’ve had the rear end start to break away on a roundabout at low speed and, on a full time 4WD vehicle that’s not nice. I guess I was spoiled with my previous Michelin tyres which are the ones I’ll be going back to. They stuck like glue in the dry and the wet and, given my need for hardier tyres are now diminished I’m happy to make that compromise for the sheer stopping power they possess.

When I got my Raptor I did a lot of research to look for a tyre that would give good fuel economy and good grip, I settled on the Trail Terrain because it seemed to be one of the best AT choices with good economy and performance. The only negative I read was wet performance, though I haven’t had a problem or slip in the wet yet. I spend most of my time on the freeway however I tow a kart trailer to venues with gravel roads and the tires seem great, I’m very happy with them so far. Not as aggressive looking as other AT’s but for a car that spends most of the time on the tarmac, it seems like.a good choice so far.

Having only these tyres for just over 3500kms they have performed great, 70% of that being off road with 30% bitumen road driving. The dirt roads I travel on have rocks basically glued to them and the tyres have shown no signs of any rips of chunks taken out of them, they are more quiet on road than the road tyres I had on the Forester when I first purchased the car. First impressions so far have exceeded my expectations, dry weather driving and corning has been awesome and these all terrain tyres drive like a road tyres if not better than what I had before. Wet weather is difficult to say as being a symmetrical all wheel drive they always have grip with most tyres but these tyres in pouring rain have never given any signs of slipping or made me feel like I need to slow down, they keep you confident in all situations. So far for my applications these tyres really are the perfect tyres for that all wheel drive car. Great for light mud and dirt roads but still have that quiet manner and performance on road.
