I have had 4 land cruisers & done over 300000 klms they have worn well but are not good Offroad. They do squeal a lot when turning sharp. Because 80 to 90 percent of my driving has been on bitumen they have been good, I also found them quite good on sand but not good on anything slippery like clay.

Dunlop Grandtrek AT22 are stock equipment for the BT 50 from the factory. I wouldn't exactly say they're all-terrain but have dragged me out of a few scrapes off road, not so good in mud or wet in general but I guess they're for metro use only! If you're on the tarmac lots, do loads of city/highway driving and need a good general purpose tyre, then they're for you. If you get outdoors; fishing, boating, hunting etc. then take a look at Duratrac, TA-KO-2 or maybe the Maxxis MTs.

I have just spent a few days doing some amazing 4wd tracks in the southern flinders and traveling a large distance on them. Dropped the pressure in them to around 25psi front and back and wow did they handle well! They where very comfortable on the coronations aired them back up and drove the 400km back home! These tyres are stock on the car and they are amazing! They performed up there with some very expensive AT tyres. Didn’t lose grip in the rocky sections. The only issue I had with them was a small puncture on the road home that was the only down side to an amazing set of tyres! The only down side to them is they don’t have a lot of tread, for sand they don’t have the foot print of sole of the others. Also the side walls are not as strong as light truck tyres which I will be moving to next but for a basic Tyre I was blown away with them!

The tyres are brilliant on road and perform well offroad obviously they are more geared towards onroad activity but off road they hold up just fine, road noise is minimal and I've had no probablems with grip in the wet or otherwise.

Not a bad tyre for sealed roads in dry weather, and they are quiet, but not great in the wet, poor in mud or loose surfaces, and fragile off road (3 punctures, and not challenging conditions either). There are much better choices if you want an AT tyre

Fine for use in light off-road situations but better suited to the hard top. If you are thinking of going off-road more and exploring then something with a more aggressive trend pattern is going to serve you better.

I travel roughly 1000km a week and these tyres work great. Have never had a problem with them, they are smooth, ride well and little to no road noise. They have seen all types of terrain but are predominantly used for road driving and I can’t fault their performance in any condition/terrain. Great tyre!

These tyres came stock on the new vehicle and have been good for most of their life. I have been most impressed with the low road noise but a few slips in the wet have convinced me that its time for a new style of tyre. I regularly tow a 2.3 tonne caravan and they have been fine for towing as well.
