Terrible and dangerous tyres in the wet. Bought a car with them on and want to change them asap despite lots of tread left. Don't buy these!

I got a barely used set to run as my car (4wd Hiace import) came with 17 inch wheels. I wanted to run original wheel sizes and tyres and found these used on gumtree. Manufacture date shows 2018 however after having them mounted to OEM Toyota 15 inch rims I was cleaning them to find thin hairline cracks around the sidewalls. It gets extremely hot and apocalypticly bright here in Perth and it's scorching dry so they haven't faired well. Even though they have new tread and the paint lines on them still they have obviously been removed from a new car or left outside new. I've super cleaned them and brushed them with UV protection. Driving wise they ride really well, grip perfectly, the sidewalls are soft and are definitely a no no for off road use. Unfortunately I've spent the money now and with summer knocking it would be too risky to run these in the heat with the sidewall cracks. If you were looking for a passenger tyre that drives great, minimal noise and good grip... essentially just a good tyre I'd recommend these HOWEVER if you live somewhere extremely bright and arid hot like WA, I'd say definately look after them, wash them every month and use a good quality tyre UV protectanct else your investment will be cut short.
