Kumho Tyres PORTRAN KC53 Reviews

I have Had this Staria load van since new, have just clocked over 106000 Klms in 4 years 4 months, Tread is just stating to get to the tyre marker. I have never had issues with grip nor have I ever had A tyre last longer that 75000 klms. I would purchase these again in a heart beat.

Previously 3 sets of tyres (incl. original manufacturer fitted tyres) traveled approx 80,000 klm's. These Kumho KC53's (225/70 x 15R) (114/116 load rating) have travelled approx 50,000 klm's. All previous tyres were skittish on the rear of the Hilux in the wet. These Kumho's are much better in the wet, and quiet highway driving. I've just purchased another set of (4) KC53's with the same specs only lower load rating of 110/112. Will leave another review once I've traveled a couple thousand K's.

Best light truck tyre on the market in my opinion. Have had 1.5 tonne on these handles it well. Extreme grip in the wet, have only used about 2mm of tread in 10000kms. Very well priced and silent on the highway.

For a Tyre that’s reasonably inexpensive, it’s lasted fairly well though I haven’t tried many others but is the best I’ve found so far.
