I often drive damp or wet rough surface roads that are windy and under trees, these tyres perform very well in those conditions. When dry I often drive the same roads with enthusiasm with similar results.  I have just out a second det on.

Don't believe I've even had tyres wear so fast. Driven almost 10,000kms in 6 months and already down to the wire on one. Quite disappointed.

They are chipping apart and need replacing already after about 15000km. So furious with how badly they performed - have never had any issues with poor wear on other brand tyres. Mechanic asked if I'd been driving a lot offroad. In my ioniq? No. Never buying maxxis again after this experience.

Purchased because of positive reviews. Absolutely disappointed. Awful rough low speed harshness so bad that the cabin rattles. At all normal speeds continual very loud rumbling noise. Returned under 30 day warranty (had to pay for the warranty!).

Just a brilliant tyre that punches above its weight. Noise is low, grip is excellent and the deep channels work well in the wet. I had a set of Chinese Jimmy good ride ditch finders on the ute when purchased and the HP5's have completly transformed the driving experience. Good job Maxxis!

Replaced a set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4 so I will compare the Maxxis HP5 with them. The HP5s have good but less grip in the wet, excellent dry grip, are extremely quiet and comfortable and they are a lot more affordable.

I have been extremely happy with these tyres. Great grip, only once did I push my car to test the tyres, I'm not a fast driver and I will be purchasing these again. Feels much safer then Bridgestone Ecopia I had previously. No complaints at all.

These are whisper quiet tyres (yes despite being new). So far it's been a beautiful soft ride with great wet and dry braking. Solid on corners but like all other summer tyres, should not be cornered too hard on this rather heavy front wheel drive car. These are ideal tyres for a camry sedan with a sensible driver (not a sports car!). Being softer they will probably wear quicker than other tyres - but the trade-off is a superb ride with excellent wet and dry performance. *My front wheels are lucky to get 50,000km's of use from any tyre. When I recently replaced all four, my old rear tyres still had 30% tread which was great longevity at around 50,000km but they were becoming very noisy and sensitive to bumps - probably because the rubber which was firm when new, had become much harder over time (2 years). Having used many major brands over the years I'd say these HP5's are seriously under-rated and offer the best ride and value in a so-called mid-range tyre. So it makes sense to me to keep buying these rather than trying to squeeze the life out of over-rated expensive tyres so you feel like you've got value. This is my third hybrid camry and these Premitras are shaping up to be the best value, best all round tyres to date.

I bought the Maxxis HP5 Premitra. I couldn't select them on this website but was so impressed I had to put a review anyway. They are very well priced compared to the sports tyres I've had on my WRX. The grip in wet and dry is way better than my Potenzas. The tires feel like they have a softer sidewall which improves comfort over bumps however with aggressive cornering you can feel the tires roll a little. Surprisingly my fuel economy has improved with these tires as well. Since purchase I've noticed 0.5L/100km improvement which is great. Highly recommended!
