Ride is OK but the tyre noise is horrendous - like driving off-road 4x4 tyres - worst tyres for noise I have ever had and these come OEM on Honda CRV

Best tyre I have ever had on any car I've owned. They are truly impressive in the wet. I notice they have now been replaced by the Pilot Sport 4 SUV. I will be purchasing a set of them next, I expect they will be better than the Latitude Sport 3's.

These tyres are way to noisy on the highway, specifically the Hume. OK on smooth bitumen, but coarse chip brings out a noise like being in an airplane. The handling is good as you'd expect from the aggressive tread pattern, and braking performance is solid. Let down by the noise though - never had tyres make this much racket.

It could be the size of the tyres and so I could be asking for too much in terms of a quiet ride but I do find these tyres noisy. I have nothing to compare them with however. Perhaps all tyres of this size are noisy ? I will update this review once I change the tyres.

I've driven in Michellens for the last 20+yrs, so was pleased to see my new (back in 2017) XC90 delivered with these. 40,000kms so far (~80 % worn). Very happy with them, & will replace with same. Good across the board. Wet, dry, sand, low noise, reasonable wear.

I've racked up 31,000km since I put these Michelins on. I do about 20,000-24,000km per year with school runs/after school activities and weekend activities for the kids. Daily on the freeway. Once or twice a year road trips (nothing off road) to places 300-400km away. I was shocked at the last servicing when my mechanic said 'We don't need to rotate these tyres at all, they have worn out extremely evenly /equally - something that is highly unusual' I was like...what?!?!? Being a driver for the last 25 years I've changed tyres many many times and this is the FIRST time I've heard tyres wearing evenly! Prior to these Michelin Latitude Sports 3, I've used Goodyear Eagle F1s twice, changing them at the 18,000-20,000km mark. These Michelins wear out rather slowly and are way quieter than the Goodyears. They are also pretty decent braking distances in wet conditions. I switched to the Michelins only after going online for hours reading countless reviews online (not many in Australia) - mostly from UK and America websites,  where snow is rampant. We need more local Aussie based review websites that review tyres suited to our local conditions/climate. How I wished I stumbled upon you guys back then when I was trying to make a decision! Although they are slightly costlier, but as the old saying goes : Price is what you pay, value is what you get :-) These Michelins look like they might last another 10,000-15,000km...not sure but we'll see. When the time is right, I'll be back here looking to see if there are better performing tyres out there than these ones!

Not really sure about these tyres, as they are supplied by Audi standard equipment. Would like to get around minimum 60000 so only really got about 2 thirds of what I expected
