The Nitto Ridge Grappler® represents the next generation of the Grappler family, blending the durability of the Trail Grappler® M/T with the comfort and longevity of Terra Grappler® A/Ts.
Key Features
- 2-Ply or 3-Ply - All imperial sizes and a selection of metric sizes use heavy-duty, 3-ply construction while most metric sizes use a lighter, 2-ply construction to increase comfort and flexibility while still achieving higher puncture resistance when compared to most A/Ts
- Alternating Shoulder Design - Shoulder grooves are arranged in varied widths and lengths to clear mud and provide traction, joined by lateral Z groves to maximise traction
- Reinforced Tread Blocks - Tapered tread blocks featured connecting bars to add rigidity and reduce tread flex under load
- Variable Pitch Pattern - Advanced sound equipment as usedto create a pattern that's relatively quite and smooth on sealed roads for an aggressive off-road tyre

Great tyre in general. Road noise is very low for such an aggresive AT tyre. Off-Road capability is excellent! I have tested them in Sand, Mud, Gravel roads, Rocks, and can't fault them in any of those settings. Wear seems to be excellent too. I can barely see any wear after 10,000 Kms. Price seems to be fair, if not excellent too.

Tyres have never let me down. Have lost quite a few chunks of rubber up bush but no flats and plenty of grip. Obviously not as good as a full mud tyre for real wet weather bush work, but a decent compromise. Would have liked to get more than 45-50k kms but are totally knackered now. That said, was up bush over the weekend and they still performed quite well with bugger all tread remaining!

These tyres are a good all rounder, as I Use my Ute for my work travel and also my fun car for weekends, being from travelling on highways to out in the mountains or on the beaches, they do good in all terrains, from wet mud to gravel roads, as I don’t need chunky mud tyres, but I do need a good quality all terrain tyre to suit me for all driving purposes. As these tyres came with the vehicle, they are also just about needed to be replaced and I’ll be due for another set, and I’m really happy with the Nitto Ridge Grapplers.

They’re and awesome tyre. Been through a lot of abuse on and off-road and never had a puncture. They’re a good all rounder for any 4wd and perform well in mud, sand, rocks and on the road.

Recently changed from BFG KO2s after years of running BFGs and really impressed with the Nittos. They are quiet on the highway, comfortable to drive on with positive handling in the dry and wet. What really surprised me was the durability offroad especially when taking on rocky terrain, the tyre was in great condition after hard driving on rocks and steep hills at Janowen Hills 4x4 Park. The Ridgegrapplers were lacking damage of any kind where I have damaged previous tyres in the past. They also eject mud well for an AT tyre and seem to get good traction however a MT is more capable for mud

In my line of work I require A tyre that is going to be reliable , practical and long lasting with the varying conditions I put my car through I’ve found the nittos quiet on the road and stick to any surface Giving a broader range of added safety to my vehicle . Their mud terrain capabilities as well as sand and snow And reduced road noise and longivety are a winner for me I’ve done 90000+ with more to go I would highly recommend these to any all round 4x4 enthusiasts !
