These tyres are diabolical in the wet. Even accelerating slowly from traffic lights results in rear wheel spin. Accelerating moderately through gentle corners results in side slip. I couldn't imagine these tyres would be much good when serious four wheel driving. Given one's life relies on tyres I wouldn't recommend these to my worst enemy unless I really wanted them dead.

Near impossible to retain traction in the wet on road. It doesn't matter if the ute is empty or loaded. The very lightest of throttle or variance in road camber and you're on an ice rink. Very dangerous. The fact that front tyres also lose traction when steering in the wet, even on a freeway, is a real concern. Recommend that you replace these off OEM supplied wheels ASAP.

From new I have found these tyres to be diabolical in the wet. The ranger suffers wheel spin when accelerating from lights even when being extra careful on a flat road. Going up sharp inclines on bitumen it again suffers wheel spin. I have also experienced losing the rear end when travelling at 60km/hr on a gentle bend. These tyres are not fit for purpose but Ford refuses to acknowledge that. They are not safe and not worth your life.

These tyres are fine in the dry but nothing special. In the wet these tyres should be illegal; they are so dangerous that I wont let anyone drive my car in the wet.

I'm on my 5th set of AT22's and about to go to my 6th with this car. I have often considered other tyres recommended to me - but keep coming back to the AT22's as I have averaged around 80K's out of each set and couldn't be more pleased with their performance, including for light off road and gravel work.

Living out in the sticks I drive on a lot of unmade roads. I don't feel comfortable with these tyres in the gravel or unsurfaced roads especially the wet, I don't even like them on the highway when it's wet. Don't even go on grass when a sparrow has peed on it, you'll be down to 4 wheel drive in low range to get off it. They came on the vehicle when I bought it and I am replacing them now after 10000 km use

These tyres are dangerous in the wet. As soon as it rains I have to slow down to a crawl on turns and roundabouts otherwise the car slides out. They are ok on bitumen and highway as long as the road is dry. I'm getting rid of them and will probably look at the Falken Wildpeak AT3W or the BFG AT K02.

Stock Tyres from purchase of new car have been fine since new, but looking to go for a more off-road tyre. Have done a little bit of introductory off road experiences and found I was slipping around a bit with a small amount wetness on the tracks/trails

Factory fitted tyres on my car. Very high edge wear of the tyres even with inflated very close to maximum tyre pressure. Cannot even get 30000 kms from these tyres.
