Put a set of these Dunlops on my wife's VX SS Commodore as we were advised they would be a fairly good tyre and able to handle ~300kw without drama. This is our 'Sunday drive' - we are mature and don't drive like idiots but these tyres are just not up to the task. They are ok in the dry but atrocious in the wet! When taking off at the traffic lights anything more than a feather-light touch on the accelerator results in lots of wheel spin. Similarly, going through a round-about in the wet is nerve-wracking. I won't be buying Dunlops ever again. Even though the tread is almost as new I am looking at replacing them, possibly with Continental MC6 as I've read good things about them (just wish I had read the reviews about the Dunlops first).

A tyre is rated by a combination of several factors. The average of which determines their value and worth. In the case of this tyre, on my car, the wet weather performance so horrendously bad, that I would never buy these again.

Wet grip is horrible, spins off a standing start when ever on a slight incline in the wet and I struggle to get up my driveway whenever it has rained. Needed to replace After 25k KMs as I had no confidence in them at all.

Tyres OK when new. Required regular left to right rotation to reduce left hand pull. Lack traction in straight line, very easy to squeal/spin off the line.

G'day! Had Dunlop Monza 200 205/65R15 on the Toyota Estima Hybrid before, which were noticeably quieter and more comfortable. These (of the same size) are quite a bit noisier over rough surfaces and bumps, and probably harsher in terms of bumpiness. These LM704s are probably not the worst in terms of comfort and noise - not awful - but not great either. Where these do perform better though is treadwear - which seems to be good. Have had one of these since getting a puncture and driven probably more than 50,000 km and it still looks nearly the same as the newer ones which have only traveled a couple of thousand or so. Grip seems okay in all conditions, not excellent, but okay

Had SP300E on my 2004 Elantra, & best tyre I'd had in decades. Put 225/45/18 LM704 on my 08 Mazda 6 figuring newer = improved. Wrong! Fairly good in the dry once broken in, tho can still feel them trying to skip if the surface isn't smooth hotmix. Garbage on a wet road. Going through roundabouts, they don't grip & find myself heading toward the gutter even though steering away from it (unless at snail pace). Not much confidence in them on a damp road at all. My old Kumhos & even Bridgestone R003s (which were almost gripless in the wet) are much better tyres

Tires are on my family car. Haven't had any problems with them. I drive the car around town mostly. Every so often I drive on the highway or on s dirt road but they hold up pretty good when on both. The tyres are good value for money and I would definitely recommend them to a friend.
