These tyres have performed well from the outset. Great dry weather grip, but noting post 50,000km they have struggled accelerating in the wet. Stopping has been fine. Very comfortable on longer highway driving and very responsive at speed. The occassiona lgravel road has never been an issue.

Good cornering and grip in the dry only. Truly terrible wet performance, you will get wheel spin on lightly misted roads if your standing start is too bold, and you will get minor slides on moderately twisty corners even hours after rain. Excellent tyre wear - these are the OEM tyres fitted by factory and they lasted over 60000km and 5.5 years. Noise relatively loud, but that might be due to the poor quality of Aussie roads and the poor cabin insulation of the Mazda 3 BN. As of September 2022 prices, this tyre is very overpriced and not recommended. I am replacing these with Continental MC6, which should be much better. Pirelli Powergy and Cinturato P7 are also better choices in this price range.

OEMs on my Mazda 3 and amazingly they've lasted 89,000 km, probably due to my sedate driving style. Longevity is fantastic but that's where my praises end. They're so noisy and uncomfortable it's like sitting in a shopping trolley, although I suspect the Mazda 3 lack of noise isolation contributes substantially. I've replaced them with Continental MaxContact MC6 and the road noise is a fraction of these horrid Dunlops.

These tyres came with my brand new Mazda 3 SP25. I got 50,000 kms out of them (pretty good) in about five years of driving. In the wet if you needed to take off fairly fast, you would easily break traction. Did not feel safe. And in the dry, the wheels would spin a little and my car is not that powerful. And if you floored it in the dry while moving, it felt like the car was pulling to one side constantly. I just replaced them with Kumho Ecsta PA51 tyres, and the grip in the wet with these (and in the dry) is like night and day - excellent! I had a bad experience with Dunlop tyres back in 2004 on my Peugeot 307 of a similar model, in that the tread did not wear evenly so they could not be balanced at all - constant vibration. And the Dunlop representative I dealt with was such a liar. I ended up going to a tyre place after they mucked me about and they replaced the tyres with brand new ones on the spot (pro-rata of course) of a different brand. I would never buy Dunlops with so many better choices out there.

OEM tyre 215/45/18 on the Mazda 3 SP25GT. This is our family car and has been reliable over the last 4 years and 30+K kms. Mixed driving varying from short trips, shopping, long commutes (80kms) as well as country driving. Dry and Wet handling have been adequate for spirited daily driving and fairly comfortable with stock suspension and 18x7 rims. These tyres have however, gotten noisier towards end of its life and road noise can be quite bad if the roads are not silky smooth (eg 80% of australian roads) for the price of these tyres, i am currently looking at other options now for replacement.

While these tyres have performed well and lasted a reasonably long time they do produce a lot of noise while driving, I cannot find any faults beyond this noise.

The Dunlops came standard with the car when I bought it new. The main disappointment is poor wet grip when accelerating hard. The Mazda SP25GT is not exactly a power house but it’s all too easy to break traction, even in the dry, when accelerating out of an intersection. They are also incredibly noisy, always a problem with the Mazda3. A mate with the same car has just replaced his same Dunlops with Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres, now available in the correct size (215/45x18). The difference is chalk and cheese, especially in the wet. And they are much smoother and quieter. It’ll be the PS4 for me at changeover time.

These are the factory installed tyres when the car was new. I have only taken delivery of the car for one month or 500kms. Therefore, my reviewis limited to this time period. First impressions are good. Road noise is okay but I am not concerned about that. I am focused on handling and road feel. These tyres seem to do the job. I might go for a more performance-basedtyre when it's time to replace them.

I have had the car since new and have had a great experience with them. I am now due to change all 4 tyres and would def look to buy the same brand.
The tyres have been great in both wet and dry conditions and feel they are super safe for me and my young family.
