Good old maxxis tyres, been using them for over 10 years and hard to fault puncture wise there are rather strong, have had many types of the maxxis range and found these ones to be good so far. The only downside is they have no lugs on the sidewalls to grip in the mud, while they are only a all terrain but it would have been good idea from maxxis. In the wet it's a no brainer to slow down in a heavy 4wd with all terrains or mudders as they do not grip as well on the roads as a normal road tyre. But in saying that they have been great in the wet and dry, good for offroad but avoid heavy clay or thick muds as these tyres will struggle to self clean and gain traction even with lowered pressures. But for basic off roading and non hard core tracks these tyres are a great all arounder and to be honest do grip well in light mud and light clay situations, I have found tread wear to be fantastic and even wear, I have 50% left of tread but as these tyres are now 6 years old the rubber has started to go hard and noticed is beginning to perish not bad for a 6+ year old tyres. I will consider getting these again as i had no real issues at all with them. Much better than other brands i have tried!!

I have had these tyres on my 4x4 for about 4 years, have done about 40,000km and had to replace. Probably could've got another 50% if I did more regular wheel alignments. They were good on the black top in the dry however, were slippery like a mud tyre when the road was wet. The tyres were quite noisey for an all terrain tyre but not as bad as a mud tyre. Off-road performance was good. I believe this AT tyre is very old school in design and modern tyres have come a long way now. I would not recommend this tyre if you were getting a new set, spend the extra dollars and get the maxxis at881 razr's.

Great on dry terrain however treacherous in the wet on hard terrain. "On skates". Poor design. Thank goodness they've been superceded
