These tyres have worked so well for me ever since I got them they run so smooth on the road and off road, I would usually take my car to the beach and I would never get bogged and never struggle in the sand, once I took them off road in the mud and they performed so well and I would never complain, I've got one of my mates to try them and he loves them aswell, they were definitely worth the money and a very great investment!

I purchased Maxxis MT753s because I wanted an LT rated 14" tyre with some capability for off-road conditions. It was immediately apparent that these high ply-count light commercial tyres were very heavy and very stiff. Acceleration was noticeably slower compared to the passenger style 205/70R14s previously fitted, and the ride was much harsher. Two cracks at balancing them didn't get the vibes out completely, either. The first long trip revealed they were also extremely loud, on a par with large (e.g. 33-35") 4x4 mud tyres.
I was sceptical that the tread pattern would perform on wet tarmac, with stiff, widely spaced tread blocks, but interestingly they actually worked quite well in the rain. They were also quite effective on ice and snow, but most people won't encounter that in Australia!
Unless considerably aired down, they are too stiff in casing and tread compound to be useful off the road unless your vehicle is heavily loaded. Heavily loaded though they work quite well, courtesy of the high ply-count of the casing, and I achieved over 40,000km use out of them (they are down to about 2mm tread now), so it isn't all bad.
They were overkill for the application, but if you need a tyre for something like farm duties, they would be a reasonable choice, if quite expensive. If you drive on highways at all, I would avoid.
