Had these tyres now for a few months and have done over 10,000km. Couldn’t be happier or more impressed. I have done both the Birdsville and Oodnadatta track in this time will towing and have found the grip during wet and dry to be extremely impressive so far. Highway driving the road noise is minimally louder compared to the road tyres that came standard. Wet grip has been really impressive. I have done around 2500km on dirt and they are exceptionally grippy. Would be the best AT Tyre I have ever used, i perfect all rounder that I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

The Toyo AT3’s are a good tyre off-road and in the wet, Handle well, good grip in the dry and very strong construction which is good for 4wheeling, done 12000 and haven’t worn even a 1mm, but when it comes to the wet they do slide around at round abouts at 25-30kph and just not very grippy in general on wet roads. Giving that they are Japanese made it’s quite disappointing, they aren’t as bad as BFG but would of expected them to be better giving they are Japanese made. All in all there’s not much options on the market left so I would probably run them again or recommend them to a mate, just maybe drive abit slower.

Got these after my old open country 2's wore out. As the 2 were down to their last legs they were becoming slippery in the wet and as the car is primarily used as a family car I had to change the old shoes quick smart and chose the open country 3. Great grip in the wet and super comfortable feel on road. Road noise is a lot less than the old open country 2. Sand driving is the same. I am yet to put them in mud so I can't comment there. Overall I am very happy with the improvements Toyo have made with their new design and would happily buy another set.

Recently purchased OPAT3 LT265/65r17 to replace OEM Dunlop AT20 that had done 75K km and had served me well since purchasing the Prado new in early 2020. Toyo OPAT2 or 3 recommended by an independent tyre company after requesting another tyre for my vehicle. Initial thoughts are wow! The comfort is superior to my the OEM tyre. Albeit they had worn to 4mm across all 4 tyres and were in their twilight. The noise was on par if not slightly less than the Dunlop at all speeds up to 110km/hr. The grip / feel of the Prado seems to have increased. The feel through the steering wheel is firm and sure footed. The look is awesome. Fuel economy after 500 km according to the onboard trip computer is the same as the Dunlop's which I was not expecting tbh (average 8.3-8.8L per 100 km). Early days, but am super happy with the OPAT3s and look forward to many adventures on and off the bitumen, with and without the caravan.

Disappointed at how much fuel economy has been affected by new tyres

These tyres were fitted to my 3.5t 200 series after using Yokohama Geolander XAT. The XAT are a tough act to follow. These tyres have suited me well. I think they are quieter and in 700km of dirt they handled very well. A few trips at 20psi on soft sand at the beach and 4500km on tarmac at 40psi to Lawn Hill from Brisbane and I can’t fault the tyres. I have had limited wet driving so far but the little I did has been fine. The tyres have not shown any chips or gouges from the dirt roads which were as rough as I have experienced. I ran at 28psi on dirt at 80-100km/hr depending upon conditions. I would happily recommend these tyres and they have performed as well as I could ask. They are a little less aggressive than the XAT but have been as good for me as the XAT which is the best endorsement I can give them. Well don Toyo.
