The Proxes T1 Sport is an ultra-high performance passenger car tyre that provides exceptional levels of cornering and braking grip in wet or dry conditions, high speed stability and fast steering response. The asymmetric tread pattern provides low tread noise without compromising performance. The characteristics of the Proxes T1 Sport make it suitable for high performance sedans and coupes.
Key Features
- By incorporating large blocks on the outside of the tread design contact is increased and improves the blocks rigidity improving handling and steering response. The design ensures great road grip and feel.
- Grooves provide a wide water channel for improved wet weather performance under all conditions.
- A unique inside notched rib design enhances block rigidity improving braking performance. By locking the blocks together it also reduces irregular wear resulting in a quieter more comfortable ride.
- A special bonding agent helps the elements of the tyre compound to better interact with each other creating a superior bond for higher rigidity.
- This advanced compounding method is applied to the inside and outside of the tyre tread at specific levels to maximise the tyres ability to handle stresses placed on the tyre tread. The results are a better designed, better performing tyre.
- A unique wide centre rib improves straight line stability while also improving cornering response. The results are a tyre that turns quickly however maintains straight-line stability during high speed highway driving.

I've been very happy with these tyres thus far. My purchase wasn't heavily researched and I was instead guided by tyre shops recommendation. This tyre is well suited to the highway and country miles I drive and they handle the variety of encountered surfaces quite well regardless of weather. The driving and handling performance of these tyres, particularly on quality road surfaces is excellent despite being fitted to a comparatively heavy vehicle. Visually the Toyo's are an appealing 'sporty' pattern affording a high end or performance look. The main shortcoming of these tyres in my experience is the road noise and harshness over larger surface imperfections and potholes. To be fair though I attribute this more to the low profile of the tyre and vehicle suspension setup as the noise from these tyres is less than that of the OEM and previous tyres. I would happily buy these tyres again and similarly recommend them, particularly if typically driven on well maintained roads.

I drive 2hrs to and from work everyday on the highway with my young son and and feel safe when I brake on these tyres. only once have I needed I brake hard to avoid an tyres did the job! Tread on the Toyo Proxes Sport has worn well. We live on a dirt road that is well maintained and feel safe even when road is dry and slippery.

I bought these tyres after having run a set of federal semi-track stroke tyres.I've been seriously impressed by the comparative performance of the toyo!Fantastic dry and wet traction provided with negligible road noise for a competitive price!

I expected these tyres to be noisey and wear quickly as they are sport tyres but they are nice and smooth and I can hardly notice any noise.I decided to buy these tyres because the previous ones I had (dunlop sport maxx) wore out after 15000kms. I have already travelled 10000 kms and these toyo tyres aren’t even 3/4 goneThese tyres are grippy and i would buy another set without hesitation 9/10
