Default tyres on the Maxda CX-5 are budget at best, during a defensive driving course the car failed nearly all the breaking tests, another same year model car with same tyres passed. Very poor braking ability you have to smash the pedal down so hard for it to really activate full ABS stopping mode. The instructor said if it was me i would have replaced the tyres soon as you bought it they are designed for long life not saving lives.

Original equipment on our New Mazda CX5 2WD, Incredible mileage before being replaced @ 63,700k's, Wheel aligned at first 1,000km service then rotated 3 times, Pressures 36-38psi Front, 34-36 rear. Totally happy & would have replace them with the same tyres, however because of the high replacement cost, bought new Michelin Primacy SUV tyres that retailed for around 50% of the Yokohama's.

Came as OEM tyre. Quiet enough. Smooth with no dramas. Never really had any issues with these tyres Mainly highway and local road driving, minimal gravel, no offroad travel After 30,000+ k's need to replace them and looking for a change

These tyres were originally fitted with my 2015 Mazda CX5 AWD. Mostly drive on the freeway at 100km per/hr for 90km per day. I have about 1.7mm of tread left on all four tyres and the side walls are starting to deteriorate. Handling is ok but corners feel a bit heavy. I'm happy that I got 50K km out of these but I would say they're a little noisy. Stopping in the dry could do with a little more grip (prob due to life of tyre now though) I'm keen to try another tyre to compare with these. For a stock standard tyre still a descent tyre for a CX5.

I am providing this review as I was searching the web as I will be in the market for a new set of the same tyres soon. I like the tyre. I have driven 50,000Km and have at least 5-8000km of tread left. Compared to other cars and tyres this is great. They have worn evenly, front and back, no flat spots and I feel secure. Approx 15% Hwy, 5% off road/dirt and balance local driving. I have not systematically rotated or balanced the tyres. Would I recommend them to a friend - I would recommend that my friend consider them as a good option - tyres are an individual option on a car unless you buy on price alone.

They are quite a good tyre for an OE fitted tyre. Overall comfort & grip is good, but they do produce a little noise. I've only done 10,000kms and the wear isn't too bad, although both front tyres are feathering lightly on the outside edges. An alignment & rotation was done at 8,000kms when I first noticed this, but the feathering is starting on the evenly worn rears, which are now on the front. I've experimented with pressures ranging from 35psi (2psi above factory recommended specs) to 40psi and have settled on 38psi as an all-round best compromise, in my opinion.
