They are the worst tyres I have ever put on , as soon as the road gets wet a have drop my speed down below 80 kms if hit a puddle on a wet road the vehicle will drift sideways , to think this is a all wheel permanent drive it’s prity scary, I had good year tyres previously and never a problem , these are absolute rubbish that shouldn’t be allowed to sell these

Only 8,000 km in — mostly highway — and I’m already disappointed. One tyre has a chunk missing from the tread, they won’t balance properly, and they collect stones that are damaging the tread. For the price, I expected far better.

Spent a long time researching every tyre for my new Raptor. Currently have Falken Wildpeaks on my Landcruiser 200 and Toyo Open Country’s before them.I took a gamble and chose the Yokohamas over a set of Wildpeaks or Maxxis Razar, looking for a more off road worthy tire for my Raptor without sacrificing wet weather road performance, comfort and noise. I went with the D Load range option and could not be happier. Quieter than the Falken’s in my view by a fair margin. Very comfortable on road. Great in the dry and on par with the Falken’s in the wet. In my view they are far better than the OEM B.F Goodrich KO2 that came on the vehicle in the wet. Simply no comparison. In the dirt and on the farm they have also been brilliant. These are my new go to tire for do anything, without compromise,

I've had the Geolandar X-AT tyres for about five years now. Initially, they were excellent, offering improved on-road handling and solid grip off-road. In the first two years, my experience with them was very positive. However, after the two-year mark, I started noticing some issues. I encountered strange chips and gouges, and even saw an entire tread block almost fall off, exposing the smooth rubber underneath. Additionally, their performance in wet conditions began to decline, with the tyres becoming noticeably slippery, leading to some unexpected excitement during wet, greasy conditions. As with most off-road tyres, regular rotation is crucial, and neglecting wheel alignment checks can affect performance. I'd say they offer good mileage, but I wouldn’t recommend them to last beyond two to three years for optimal performance. Given that I don't do a lot of long-distance driving, the age of the tyres likely contributed to the decline in performance.Overall, while I’ve had a good run with these tyres, $260ish a tyre (265/75R16) when i purchased, so decent value, I’m now looking at other brands to replace them soon.

Going from Mickey Thompson atz p3's to the Yokohama X-AT, I was hoping to get a tyre of similar quality and gravel road grip.I'm surprised to say the X-AT delivers more then what I had hoped for. Yokohama are renowned for quality albeit at the higher end of the market where people usually turned away from the brand due to their price. Sitting in the market at the same price as BFG and Mickey Thompson I decided to give these a try. First appearance these tyres aren't in your face aggressive. The side wall design looks to be effective without being too loud and in your face, something I look for to fit the shopping trolley image of the Prado. The ride is quiet, enough to have a conversation with the kidlings in the back seat with the windows down. The tread and side wall compound is firm according to all the brochures and documents but that doesn't seem to transfer into a harsh ride. If anything it has ironed out the stiff ride of the gvm upgraded springs allowing to vehicle to be happier on the bitumen. Off road and on the endless km's of sandy desert roads the tyres hold well, holding grip even when pushed hard around big sweeping corners. To summarise these tyres I would have to say that they are a definite option to the common brands being thrown around at the weekend bbq. While the nipples are still on the tread and the tyre still smelling new, I hope to get the same life out of the Yokohama X-AT as I did the previous tyres.

the AT-X's drive and grip better in the dry then my old KO2's, but can be a little slippery in the wet especially when there's no weight in the back of the car,  off road i couldn't fault them the grip on gravel and rock was unmatched and still enough flex in the tyres to float over sand anything i pointed the car at. were very quiet on the road i rotated them every service, I would defiantly buy them again.

Puncture Resistance!!!Absolutely the standout feature is puncture resistance, I drive a destroyed gravel farm road every day, with rocks the size of a small dog being an every day occurrence an so far the only thing that could set off the tyre monitor was a tek screw. Compared to other all terrains of my coworkers, and the highway terrains my vehicle came with.... not a single rock piercing is a miracle. My tyres, even after the chalk test - seem to wear in the middle (as if they were over inflated.. they're not). The local tyre shops all claim this to be a common G016 issue? Your mileage may vary.Road noise is about what can be expected from any A/T, noticeable but not howly (even when approaching the tyres maximum speed rating)Wet grip is fantastic, and as can be expected with an all terrain, dry grip is just fine but a noticeable decrease from even a cheap highway terrain tyre. The price in 2021 was stunning, but recent increases are making me stray towards other options.

I am about to purchase my 3rd set of these tires. I do long highway kms and heavy offroad work. my Dmax sits at 3.4t loaded and these tires hold up to everything I throw at them. I am a gold prospector so spend a lot of time making my own way through the remote bush. I have only had 4 punctures in 150000km all plug reparable! if you could see where they go that is impressive. noise, wear, ride and handling is better than your mud terrain tires and offroad grip and durability is better than your average AT. suited to mining exploration companies or someone who only wants to take 1 spare and still make it home from that remote desert trip! mine come with a 2 year warranty for piece of mind!

After driving 10,000kms I’ve found these tyres good in dry weather with minimal road noise. My main concern is in the wet. For this reason I won’t be purchasing these again nor would I recommend.
