I took a Long Term Tyre Plan from the retailer and have had a wheel alignment, balance and 5 wheel rotation every 10,000 kms since new. I expect to get upto 90,000 kms depending on my next big trip requirements, lots of rugged offroad work and regularly towing a boat and camper @ 2 tonnes. The KO2's perfom well on sand, rock, mud and bitumen. Had a little trouble with grip in torrential rain conditions but adjusted driving technique to suit. The KO2 is much better suited to my use than desert duellers fitted in the past, I consider I have had good value for money and intend to purchase the same again, highly recommended to friends undertaking 4x4 travel

I've run BFG's for years and I wouldn't buy any other brand for my truck. On my old 2004 Patrol, I ran the All Terrains for 90,000 + kms without any flat tyres whilst driving over outback roads and all types of conditions. I also ran a set of Mud Terrains for about 50,000, again with no issues. I find that the All Terrains are great for outback travel, whilst the Mud Terrains I reserve for the High County, or when I know I'll be travelling on station roads in the wet. I've tried other brands over the years, but none come close to BF Goodrich for wear and longevity.

I switched to these from BFG muddies as the muddies were dangerous on wet roads and noisy af. The ATs are Great tyres, have got a really good video of them outperforming BFG Mud Terrains... In mud. They must just be made from a super sticky rubber compound. They do great on the road even in the wet. They handle rocky terrain at low pressures really well in terms of both grip and resisting damage. Paid for themselves on a recent desert trip where two cheaper tyres got shredded. An expensive tyre but the toughness has been worth it. The tread is wearing a little fast, these will probably be done by 50,000 ks, but I didn't buy these to drive highways and the way I use them they will be well damaged by then anyway.

I ran these tires for one summer while I was learning to drive. They are good on most surfaces, quiet at 80 km/h or less and good comfort and steering response. Braking on dry surfaces is good. They will (as most A/T’s) turn into slicks in the mud, but are frankly somewhat scary in wet conditions. I found myself understeering in roundabouts often, and even kicking my Jeep into an unintentional slide once. Braking (when driving straight) is still good in the wet tho. Will probably buy these again sometime, but they are not my first choice.

This is the 1st set on my 2nd 4WD. I have used 2 x set on my previous 4WD and no problem at all both off road and bitumen road and got the value for my money. I recommend to anyone who uses 50% on/off road conditions

Never touching these tyres again. Parents had a bad run nearly 20 years ago and nothings changed. Tyres are not very old with plenty of tread left and the carcasses are splitting through. Havet been abused at all, and treated the same as every other brand ive ever used. Never had this happen before but after goodling it appears this is very common and brand doesnt want to know about it or blames it as user error. As mentioned never had this happen to a single tyre before of many brands that were much more abused than these. Now know why I saw a tag a long group saying these were banned on trips. Numerous splits like in picture below and theyre not cuts. Will never buy or reccomend ever again.

When buying my used Landcruiser FZJ105 I insisted the old owner put new tyres on. He did and chose BFG KO2, which told me two things, he wasn't afraid to spend some money on the car and that he had good experiences with them in the past. I immediately put the tyres to work, in one year we had accumulated 30,000kms of travelling Australia. A near perfect mix of long open highway drives. Stretches of hundreds of kilometres in rocky dirt roads. Lots of sand and beach driving, river crossings over rocks and pebbles. Mud from forest trails and then plotting around the city which includes multistorey car parks. I simply cannot fault these tyres at all. And their premium price and popularity would say I'm not the only one. During one trip driving from Perth to Brisbane at 4800kms, we were carrying a full load meaning I had to get the tyres up to 44psi to stop them bagging and overheating. No comments after that because they just handle it. Airing down to 14psi for beach work, no issues. Wet sealed roads, no issues. Corners and brakes fine. They are a firm to medium compound so don't expect to take sharp corners like a Porsche but the road feedback is excellent and you immediately feel confident in what the tyres are relaying back to you. If I had one notable mention, it's on pebbly gravel. The deep open tread pattern means they do hold onto stones and rocks and if you are turning frequently, they can toss rocks up and onto the top of the car. It's worth mentioning that during a forest 4wd trip in the sunshine coast we were hesitant on doing a tougher track. We ran into a park ranger who took a look at our Landcruiser, almost standard and tyres and said a Landcruiser with BFG All Terrains would have no issues whatsoever in doing the difficult tracks. Turns out he was right. Of all our travels the only time the tyres had an issue was right at the end, where it met a screw in a driveway of all places. Nothing a tyre patch didn't fix. If your willing to pay the premium, know that they last and wear incredibly well and have the confidence and peace of mind that these bring- I say go for it. Plus with all the positive comments on these tyres you'll not only look good but have kerb appeal and bragging rights.
