Tyres tend to get hard quickly and slip easily in the wet. Previous set suffered a lot from cracking where the tyre meets the sidewall, had to replace well before they were fully worn out. They are however pretty tough. Traveled through Arnhem land and NT without problems. They have got a bit too expensive for what they are and i think there are better options available for the price. If they were cheaper I'd say they are a good buy.

Been running BFGs for a number of years now. They are long wearing and can take the punishment of travelling the outback over extended periods. The K2s have improved on the original AT design strengthening the sidewalls even further.

I’ve used these tyres on a number of vehicles over 25years and absolutely love them. I’ve used them on highway, sealed road, unsealed road, rugged and extreme rated off road and beach travel with absolute success. Rated 100% by me and I will buy again.

It is a heavy car but I found these tires to have a little understeer in the wet. I have however taken these on some pretty tough tracks and they have held up well. Other friends had damage and chunks ripped off but the BFG's held up well so a good strong tire.

Having been a 4wdriver for over 35 years I have used BFG’s many times across all my cars and with the exception of a set of General Grabber SLR’s which were the grippiest tyre I have ever used in the wet and the quietest also for such an aggressive pattern I have to say BFG’s are my around favourites not to mention one of the best looking 4WD tyres on the market, so good in fact when I bought my new Range I had the standard mags fitted with them from day one which were then fitted to my camper van while the Range got a larger set with new mags to complete the picture👍

Have had two sets not make a year First pair got extremely slippery after 14,000 k Second set got replaced by company due to issues Only reason I had to have ko2 not km3 available for 3 months

Tyres were silent and wearing very well on my Ute, have started to get noisier after about 30,000 but still quite compared to mud terrains. Very impressed off-road and airing down, never had an issue on gravel or sand. Work relatively well in mud too. On road performance in the wet is not great, have locked up a number of times and scared the mrs into wanting road terrain tyres back on for daily driving!

The Good: good performance on dry roads and terrain, low rolling noise. Grip om snow. The Bad; flexing sidewalls through corners, car is more oversteering than before The Ugly: scary on wet, especially in corners, drive these tyres in the rain as if I am driving on ice

I have had the KO2 on this vehicle for approx 14 months now. the wear seems to be consistent and they do last! I have previously run mud tires and they wear very fast compared to these. Forecast for these I would expect to get 50-60K out of them which its really good. I have undertaken some caravan towing with the family from Melbourne to Sydney and back along the coast, as well a fair bit of off road around the Vic high country and they have been as expected. The aggressive side walls are key to muddy tracks, but in saying that in heavy mud MTs will still be demanded. BFG carries a reputation with it as a great all round tire for the AT KO2 and this hasn't disappointed, price tag is on the high end but you would be buying twice if a cheap option is chosen. I will most likely buy these again however I would love to get them for the wife's Pajero sport but the price of 18s is a bank buster!!!!! ****/*****
