Great wearing tyre, got 100k out of last set & not one puncture. Majority of driving was country bitumen & gravel roads , often towing a 3 horse float, also a bit of paddock driving. Great tough tyre.

kO2 were great for first two years on my lc200 but rapidly chewed out shoulders probably due to my rev head behaviour usually running mid 40s psi. never had a puncture did roll a bead once but approx 50,000 km later they are noisy and probably will go for a Yokohama AT next.

These are my 3rd set and I find out they are grey imports which I purchased from a large tyre supply company. Absolutely disgusting tyre life, 35,000K’s and looking at replacing as they are warn out. Don’t know how these get such a long ware warranty in the USA. NEVER AGAIN.

Reasonably quiet if you rotate every 10k, which will also extend tyre life. After about 4 years old the rubber hardens to where they can be slippery in the wet and get a bit noisier. The excellent grip and wear are worth the price if you do a lot of kms quickly. Recently sold the vehicle with 110k on the tyres and they still had another 20k left in them (I'm a mechanic and maintain tyre pressures and rotate every 10k) If you don't do a lot of km a year you'll hate them before they wear out. If you do high kilometres then well worth looking at.

These tires, as they come stock, don't need to be replaced immediately as they get the job done and wear out evenly. They have better than expected grip and aren't prone to understeer on clean, dry asphalt at the recommended 35psi. Comfort is decent as they absorb chatter quite well and it helps that the chassis is silent so I can differentiate between tire and suspension chatter. If the road is dusty, sandy, or what Maxxis likes to call "loose over hard conditions", they can slide so watch out for that if you've never broken traction before. They're harder to break traction in dry hardpack trails but they love to drift in shallow mud. Powerslides are a blast with these tires. They've worn down by 3mm in 30k km with no issues, so the owner has something to investigate if they wear down by more than 1mm/10k km. Now for wet weather or stormy on-road driving; they're rubbish. I gave them 2* because, yeah, sure, they have grip, just like any other tire. The sipes seem to stop working even on very shallow puddles as they tend to hydroplane. Avoid driving over puddles faster than 60kph or else, without skidpan training you WILL lose control.

Looked great when new, car felt stable and planted, off-road in the dry they were more than capable, good for climbing steep gravel tracks, but useless once it got muddy. After about 50% the road noise became awful, couldn't wait to try something else.

Generally, I have been satisfied with the BFG KO2s (265/70/R16). Tyre life has been excellent (>65000km) with regular rotation. Ride can be a bit rough with 3ply side walls, especially when there is no weight in the dual cab. Handing in the dry is fine, not so good in the wet. Occasional serious dry off-road use has been fine, never tried them in serious mud or snow. Would definitely recommend this tyre for a "big lap of Oz" or regular off-road/dirt road use. Never had a puncture, and have pulled numerous nails and screws out of the tread blocks over the years which speaks to their puncture-resistance. Not so great for on-road (they get noisy as they wear) , especially in the wet, having a tendency to aqua-plane. Will not buy them again, as I want a more highway-orientated tyre with better wet road performance for my use (90% city driving) so will probably go for the new BFG Trail-Terrain when I update soon.

These tyres have been great. We've used them in all kinds of terrains and only had to get the maxtrax/whinch our a few times in their lifespan. On road they are pretty darn good considering their off road potential. Very average in the wet on the asphalt though, back slides out all the time. I would buy again, but I want to test others before i come back to them.

Have had balancing issues since new, balanced numerous times and constantly had steering wheel wobble on my new Prado 150 2020 model. Tried getting tyres replaced under warranty after 20000klm and 18 months, I was told by bfgoodrich national sales manager it isn't a product fault and I won't be covered under warranty. This is the second set of ko2 tyres I've had and will not buy or recommend bfgoodrich ever again. For the sake of replacing 5 tyres and looking after their customers they have lost a customer for life. Extremely bad business and disgusting treatment of their customer's.

Definitely an average tire for the price. 11mm tread depth and doesn’t seem to last as long as they say. Very bumpy ride. Doesn’t grip as well as other tires in the wet. Undersized runs small. Not as quiet as you’d expect as it wears down it gets a drone. Does great offroad and has great sidewall protection. Looks the best too. Very durable and tough. If you’re after looks and the brand name these are good but otherwise there are so much better tires out there
