We recently bought a 94 80 series primarily for off-road adventures. Step 1 was to replace the 10 year old Kumho MT tyres. After a LOT of research we narrowed the selection to Toyo R/T, BFG KM3 and Cooper ST Maxx, Finally landed on the KM3s, which were second choice after the Toyos, as no Toyo stock anywhere atm!! Very happy with them so far, it is early days but we have just done a SW WA tour combining highway, wet and dry gravel , wet bitumen , sand and bush tracks. They have performed faultlessly in all conditions and to my surprise road noise is not an issue. Sure not as quiet as A/T or road tyres but not annoying at all. Great choice.

Wore unevenly after only 5000kms. BFG would not even help or consider there was a fault. Seen identical wearing on another Ranger. BFG Michelin customer service was the worst part of the issue. Worst company I have ever dealt with in my 60 years

These tyres have copped so much abuse and have still yet to let me down. Tread just won't wear down and they get me wherever I steer. Would buy again

They have been a very good Tyre for all kinda of off-roading. They perform well on sand, mud, rock etc! They’re a premium price in the market but well worth the money as they are a premium tyre.

I’m happy with this set of Tyre. I have run BFG MT’s before and still might again. But, I probably don’t get off road often enough these days though and could move to more capable AT’s. Like any Tyre possibly could, KM3’s are susceptible to sliding on wet roads if coming in too hot. I don’t really have any bad experiences/complaints like sliding or excessive noise etc. I know I’m driving a 4x4 with MT tyres and not a sports car. I drive to conditions most of the time and brake in straight lines as much as possible. For what they’re designed for, KM3 are very good tyres IMO. I would recommend this Tyre to those who are regular off roaders only. Sand performance is harder work but everything else is eaten up with ease at the right inflation. My 5 cents.

Great tyre for offroading, very sturdy and strong, also great on dry roads, can slip a little on wet roads and in rain, they look great and come up nice when cleaned well

I travel a lot offroad, usually gravel and dirt but still have to get on the hwy to get to the tracks and back home. These tyres offer great offroad feel and traction and adequate on road performance. The wear has been acceptable on all except for one tyre which wore unevenly.

First set of 4wd tyres I've ever bought new. They're amazingly quiet after a year's worth of driving on them, incredible tracking on road in all conditions even snow. Never once have a lost traction driving in the wet while commuting. They feel really smooth and comfortable to drive on and easy to balance. Tyre wear is non existent, they still look brand new and plenty of tread left for off road. Speaking of off road these tyres make it a walk in the park. They hold up really well in all conditions and especially well at low tyre pressures. Compared to my mates discovery series 2 Maxxis Bighorns these out perform in all aspects and he often wishes he could swap tyres with me!
