Kumho Tyres ROAD VENTURE MT71 Reviews

I absolutely love and swear by these tyres. At 30k kms they are no noisier than the BF Goodrich KM2s that came with the Jeep - which I changed these out at 27k they start howling. They are also surprisingly good on wet tarmac. Now, this is of course, compared to other muddies. They are much better on wet tarmac than the KM2s, and about on par, maybe a bit worse then the old Kumho Mt51s, though I had these on a different jeep. So to sum up, they have amazing performance off-road, through dirt, mud and rock - I have not tired them on sand yet. They are surprisingly quiet and good on wet tarmac.. I would compare them to All terrains more than mud terrains.. The one thing is that they do wear like a mud tire.. I will likely be changing them after just 40k kms... Pic attached is wear after just under 2 years and just over 30k kms - rotating 4 tyres only... Spare is still new.

Going from other known tyre brands to the Khumo road venture MT 71 has been a blessing. They have not let me know once in any conditions. They deflate nicely and leave a good foot print while also keeping the side wall strong which is very important for me and my use of the vehicle. They go well on the sand and very reliable in all conditions. I would give them a 11/10

I purchased them in South australia 47° heat towing a 2.5 tonne trailer 2500km up the centre of Australia. Lots of play in the soft stuff in darwin and in the hot gibber of Woomera and surrounding area. And never had any issues with traction or noise. Great price and value. My brother runs the Kumho MT 51 and has done so for 107000km and loved them this is the only other tyre he is considering trying after them. He was a BF Fan until he tried the Kumho now he will not change to another brand and nor will I.
