Ive had these tyres on for four years. Wanted a 17R for off roading as the 20R they came with  didnt let enough air out comfortably for some of the driving we wanted to do. We have done an easy 70,000km on these... we do a lot of driving (intra and interstate), off road/country/dirt/gravel quite regularly, and taken this set on three 4x4 track day trips in SA (dry conditions) with no issues. We finally need a new pair (tread) before driving our next Nullarbor trip. Ive had no issues with these driving these in any weather conditions, wet, dry, etc. Only 1 puncture (giant tech screw - but it was a repair job and done an easy 7,000km since with nil issues). Havent done any heavy mudding so cant comment on that respect. They aren't a quiet tyre, but Id describe it as a white noise, not a loud one. Can still clearly hear if there is an annoying rattle in the boot or my toddler snoring. Ill be getting these again, hoping this next set serves us as well!

These tyres from day one do not hold air properly. E.g. I pumped them up maybe 3-4 weeks ago and most were down from 35/32 to 25-20 despite no leaks. I came from BF Goodrich which even with regular checking hardly ever went down e.g. maybe after 6 months would drop to 28. Apart from the poor performance regarding holding air they are ok just annoying.

I would recommend the Maxxis AT771 however, when I use them offroad it really is offroad sometimes, driving through mud/earth slides, driving in the andean moauntains over sharp stones etc. and there they are sometimes struggling. Don't know how long the tires can hold but I got them destroyed long before they wore down. If you drive City + Highway + Gravelroad that tire is excelent. If you offroad "lightly" they are pretty OK. If you really offroad heavily, you want a different tire.

absolute garbage! 3 flats in 10,000kms with non on the old Bridgestone's, and 1 tyre with a small rock through the middle of the tread destroying the tyre and now have to purchase a new tyre. these are supposed to handle off road conditions. we live on graded gravel roads and all they do is puncher and now fall apart. maxxis should be removed from sale in Australia.

I have had 3 sets of these tyres on my car. They preform well in wet, dry conditions. I have found them really good on gravel roads as well. Road noise is minimal. Overall a really good tyre. I will put another set on when these wear out.

Good honest on road tyre. Quiet with excellent tread wear for the few kms I put on them. Not particularly resilient to lower pressures when off road. Good value for the price.

Changing from HT tyres to AT. Tyre shop recommended AT771 as I don't need any aggressive pattern to conquer the terrain (mainly beach driving only). The tyres are quiet (a bit humming sound at 50-60KM/h range, but gone when it's spinning faster) and the grip is good both onroad and offroad when it's dry (average when it's wet). Overall good tyres.

On the Rado they do alright. Mostly offroad driving I've found they're surprisingly good. Excellent gravel tyre plenty of grip. Downfalls in the tread wear a little bit but if you're going off-road, you have to expect to chew up tyres on rocks and other bit and bobs. Overall, great for a weekender I'd go up to the AT980 or higher to the Razr.
