The Primacy 4 tyres  (235 50 R17 on a FG Falcon) are not as quiet nor quite as comfortable as the Continental MC I had prior to these. However the Conti's only did 45000K versus the 70000K from the Primacy 4. Both brands roll about the same (pretty good actually).  Both brands hug the road as though they are on rails. I have never had a surprise or anxious moment with either tyre, but I am not a hoon, but do push the envelope a bit. The Primacy are almost at their wear point and while I am a little more cautious in the wet they  are holding on down to the last K very well. I still have not had any surprises on roundabouts or bends at speed. However for quietness I am replacing with Yokohama ES32's

Primacy 4's have lasted really well - car's done 75,000km, was just serviced and they told me they have 5000-8000km left in them (see pic). Overall great tyre. Only downside - were initially very quiet, but have got noiser as they've worn.  Will try Primacy4+ next.

These tyres replace a set of Falken WildPeak HT’s. Those were terrible from new! They were noisy, poor dry grip and VERY BAD wet grip. At under 5 years old and 70,000 km on them (and still 30% or more tread left), they were dangerously slippery in the wet. The Michelin Primacy 4 ST’s are VASTLY superior tyre. From new, the Michelin’s are extremely quiet, comfortable and have vastly superior grip. I highly recommend these tyres.

Our Zoe came with Michelin Primacy 4 tyres, by far the best tyre I've driven on for handling and wet weather grip, and yet after 17,000km of rather non-sedate driving, they are still looking great. Should get at least 30,000km out of them, would be more if I slowed down a bit :) Brilliant tyres, absolutely recommend them.

Front left tyre hit a curb while cornering and it blew a 3cm hole on the side wall. Cannot be repaired had to change a new one. Found the wall thickness is questionable quite thin for a branded tyre. Hit a curb and it blew? I never had this problem with Bridgestone tyres which is cheaper.

I bought these tyres to replace my Previous Super Quiet Tyres, Yokohama Advan DBs, which I absolutely loved. Unfortunately they do not make these in my size anymore. The Advnamn DBs were whisper quiet. These are not as quiet, but bump thump noise (going over road patches, pothole repairs) is better than the Advans. I got 123,000kms out of the Advan DBs, not sure if I will get that much out of the Primacy 4s, but time will tell. Also, there is no such thing as Primacy 4 STs in Australia; they are the all Primacy 4, so the two reviews should be merged.

I dunno, just ok. Seem to have changed the feel of the car. Feel less responsive than previous cheapies. I think I prefer the cheapies. But they've never let go in wet, just a not as pleasant ride, the previous tyres did occasionally.

Bought these based on reviews for braking in wet and dry weather, handling and for maintaining performance throughout the life of the tyre. After 40,000km they continue to behave like they were when new and still have about another 20,000km left in them. While most km have been on sealed roads, have also done over a 1000km on some very bad dirt roads out west. Handled rocks and potholes well. Not so good in wet clay! These are excellent tyres.
