Unstable in the wet and slow to stop. Don’t feel confident in on road conditions when rain. Okay off road with performance acceptable in sand. The tyre shop guy talked me into them when they didn’t have my preferred Toyo Open Country in stock. Have never been back to that tyre shop And wouldn’t recommend Nexen tyres to anyone.

I bought these tyres because they were at a price I could afford at the time and I have not had any regrets. I tow a 22ft caravan regularly and these tyres have performed really well. I have done nearly 70,000 ks on these tyres and wont hesitate to buy same again.

I recently purchased a new car and was looking to put all terrain tyres on, I wanted falken at3w for it but these were unavailable, so I had to find something else. (My local tyre shop )who I've used for a few years now recommended the nexins'. I have read some not so complimentary things about them but he assured me he has had nothing but good feedback, so I thought I would give them a go. Prior to getting them fitted I thought I would check the noise and grip levels against my tyres I got with the everest . (Goodyear efficient grip suv tyres) So I drove a section of road near me which is rough and has lots of surface variations. I used the decibel meter on my phone to give me a rough idea of how they compared. The speed limit was 80 KPH and i used the cruise control, the wife operated the db meter, the goodyears avereged 71 db with a max of 77db, I had done just under 1000 Km on these tyres. After fitting the tyres we did the same section again after adding about 800Km on them and the nexens averaged 71db and a max of 84 db, so nothing in it for me i think, I also did a brake test and found nothing in it either. So far im happy with the purchase and will come back and update this review at 5000 Km.

Good tyre for price, Lasted well no punctures. Got noisey as they wore down but that was probably due to bad wheel alignment, feathering on the outside of the front tyres. Not bad off road, good on the beach at the right pressure. Didn't do much mud in them. Good on bush tracks. Will spend the extra money on something better next time.

When I got the car it the tyres it had didn’t even last me 50000km so I got these and they have lasted 3x as long and they are cheaper then everywhere else and they are still going but unfortunately they are getting a bit low now and I’m going to need to start looking for new tyres and would love to see what other brands can offer me

Really solid all terrain tyre especially for not such a big name brand. Most of my driving is sand and beach or gravel and dirt track and they perform really well. Especially on the sand, they bulge really well at around 15psi. A little slippery in the wet on bitumen and haven't used them in the mud so can't comment there but all round really good value for money and mine are at 30,00kms and look like I'll get another 30,000 out of them.
