Yokohama Geolandar A/T-S G012 Reviews

Really impressed with these tyres, Yokohama’s aren’t usually my first choice for 4X4 tyres. I do a 100 kilometre round trip every day on the highway, they aren’t noisy and handle great in the dry for an all terrain tyre. The wet weather performance is really quite surprising for the type of tyre, they always feel planted even being on a dual cab Ute. I have also been really pleased with the wear on these tyre, how ever maintaining pressures and rotation every 10000 kilometres has helped.  Have been off road a few times with the BT-50 with these Geolander’s and if you aren’t going to extreme tracks dropping the pressures down to 22 psi will help get you plenty of traction and smooth out the rocky track, have not tested them in sand or deep mud, only being an A/T tyre I’m not expected a lot from them. How ever I’m yet to get stuck in on the tracks I have been.  Over all a great tyre, will definitely get them again!

Suburban roads good, both wet and dry braking and cornering within my driving type. dirt and gravel surface brilliant, would recommend for all round suitability for Subaru Forester.

All round great tyre i travel alot on open roads varying different surfaces and temperatures environments. The smoothness while on open road is fantastic, the grip on sand and gravel is far superior to other brands on previous cars.Value for money definitely on par and rotating has benifited these tyres significantly. 80000 kms plus and still reliable

I have had 3 sets of Yokohama Geolander A/T-S now on 2 different 4WDs. An 80 series and 100 series Landcruiser which have had many offroad trips including Cape Yorks Telegraph Track in its entirety (no chicken tracks and no winch fitted to the vehicle for this one), Simpson Desert through to Uluru and back up the Birdsville Track to name a few. None of these trips were spent following the usual tourist trails as our idea of adventure doesn't include following in everyone else's footsteps. I have not come across a quieter 4WD tyre on the highway, and then pressured down to 20-25psi, they soak up corrugations for such a smooth ride saving the vehicle and occupants from shaking themselves to pieces. At lower pressures, even the softest sand is no match. I have had no hesitation in recommending these to people as they have never once let me down.

Being a family, we want a good reliable tyre on our car. Since we bought our car we have not had a problem with the tyres, although there is a bit of road noise and they are a bit rough to drive on they have so far been reliable.

My second set of Geolandars. 140,000 on last set. Best tyres I've ever had.

These tires are excellent. Best I've had on the car. Plenty of tread still on them after 50000kms. Highly recommend

I replaced desert duelers with these Yokohama geolanders and have not looked back excellent to drop the air pressure on sand and bad corrugates and very reliable on the highway.

Yokahama Geolandar have been an awesome tyre on my Subaru Forester. They performed well in all conditions, always had the grip to get me over any off road surface I have travelled. Sand, gravel & mud.
