I love these tyres. Perform well in most conditions. Great all round tyre. Never let me down. I have had them on my Ranger for just over a year. Geelong -Cairns- Gold Coast- Geelong. Perfect on all driving surfaces. Fully loaded and still heaps of tread left.

They were expensive which I was hesitant about but they performed great. Did well on sand so I’m happy.

Fitted the tyres to my NT Pajero, done approximately 45,000km, mostly highway and around town. 2/3 worn. Great off road, and dry weather performance. After about 35,000km on them noticed they started to hum at highway speeds, getting progressively louder with age. Not deafening like a mud tyre, just noticeable. Wet weather performance isn’t great, with a couple of ‘oh sh*t’ moments on damp roads, whilst not even pushing it. Will try a different brand of ATs next.

I was expecting great tyres given they were OE on the Raptor, but I think the Thai made ones sold here are a poor cousin to the US made ones that I read reviews on. An automatic Ranger shouldn’t need 4wd engaged to negotiate Pennant Hills Rd in the wet? They started off quiet but soon became very noisy too and consume a litre per hundred more fuel than the OE tyres. I will never buy these again and I will be happy to change them. The wearability is less important than my family’s lives.

Definitely will be buying these tyres again. I have don’t many trips around WA with these, from corrugated gravel roads, beach mission, mud and over very rocky terrain and they have never let me down. During these trips mates have had blowouts. The three ply side wall has had chunks taken out of them, which other tyres may may have failed. Quite an expensive tyre, but it is worth it the peace of mind.

Great tyres on and off road and you get a lot of kms out of them the only down side is that they get very dangerous in the wet. They are the second set I’ve had of these both sets travelled over 100k but don’t think I will replace with them again due to poor traction in the wet, more so the second set?

70000km on a BT50, over 3.5 years. There’s still 6-7mm tread depth left. I have never had a failure or puncture. They have worn evenly, being rotated every 15000. They are very good on gravel roads and on dry bitumen, they have also been pretty good on natural surface tracks in the wet, but they are now at the point where I have next to zero confidence in them on wet bitumen, they just feel like they’re about to let go at any minute through unweighted corners, so you end up keeping more throttle up your sleeve than you’d like to. I have a set of Cooper ST maxx’s on a V6 amarok that I drive regularly, and I do prefer that set up, but a RWD BT50 and a full time AWD amarok are apples and oranges, so it’s tough to compare tyres. I’ve always been keen to have a set of BFG’s, and I will say they haven’t let me down. The only reason I’m considering going with them again is because the spare is brand new, so I’ll only need to buy 3.

Fitted the BFG Ko2’s in March 2016 for a trip to WA and the Gibb River Road the tyres performed faultlessly over the 8000 plus kilometres we covered which included Bitumen,Good dirt roads, very Corragated dirt roads, Rocks loose gravel and creek crossings. In 2017 we crossed the Simpson Desert East to West the tyres were awesome particularly when deflated the BFG 265/75 16 gave a good long foot print which floated over the dunes. My travels have covered a total of 60000 k plus on these tyres with about 25000k being over tyre distorting roads I can say with confidence that the BFG 265/75R16 is the best tyre I have had to date.

While the tyre itself is OK, I have used the earlier model for 25 years, these tyres are so noisy you cannot have a conversation or hear the radio in the cabin. They are driving me crazy and I am about to replace them.
