This was an OE tyre on a Ford Escape bought 5 years ago. The tyre was replaced today, 24/07/2023, due to 1 tyre have an abnormal wear compared to the other 3 tyres. All wheels were never rotated nor aligned during the life of the tyres, lesson learned I guess, otherwise the tyres would have lasted over 80k kms. This tyre is a bit noisy especially on course gravel, grip is good on both wet and dry and car minimal body roll. I would have bought the same set if on a deal, there are other tyre brands that is cheaper and offer the same or better performance.

All 4 tyres worn down on outside and inside edges completely under 15k. Tyre pressures checked. Didn’t make it past one year of light driving. At over 10c a kilometre these have to be up there with the worst value for money tyres going. 102XL MO1. Never seen anything like it.

Contisport contact 5 came standard on the Stinger 2018. They're ok tyres, lacks grip in the wet, and dry. Treadwear isn't great only done 19,800km on them and are close to the indicator limit. Can understand why the later Stingers came with Michelins, and other Stinger owners buy different brands than Continentals.

Although this is a brand new car with few kilometers, I immediately noticed how smooth and quiet the tyres seemed. Even more impressive is highway driving by far the best tyre I have driven on and I've had some expensive prestige tyres in the past.

Tyres due for a change at 40,000 km due to outer wearing of tread. No excessive hard cornering during this tyre's lifespan and wheel alignment / balance checked. Overall I had no complaints about the tyre but then again I had nothing else to compare it with. I will try the Michelin Pilot Sports next.

Purchased car new with Bridgestone Potenza Run flats, once they wore out went to Toyo Proxes which were ok, not great, after getting a few flat tyres decided to go back to run flats and as far as Im concerned Continental is a super premium trustworthy brand, my wife usually drives this car so I wanted something super safe, instantly I could feel the car handles better compared to the previous tyres. Will be sticking with this particular tyre for many years to come.

Dry grip is great and comfort levels are acceptable. Admittedly the tyres are getting older and so the road noise and particularly the wet grip is of concern. The car’s stability system kicks in all the time when driving in the wet, and that’s with me being extra cautious. Time for a new set of tyres.

We bought 4 new Continental 195/55R16 87H ContiEcoContact 5 tyres in September 2020. Yesterday (11 January 2021) when leaving our concrete driveway the front offside tyre had a 5cm long hole in the side wall! The car has been in a locked garage overnight. Not impressed!!!
