I had these tyres fitted on my ex-Renault Megane RS265. They were fitted from factory and i travelled 35k kms before the required changing. Wet and dry grip is exceptional and i drove in a spirited manner to say the least. A mixture of town and motorways but never driven on track. Comfort is not this tyres strongpoint but it is an UHP tyre and this car was not designed for comfort so can't expect too much. Tyre is more on the expensive side but in terms of quality you get what you pay for.

The Golf R comes std with them, and it suits perfect the personality of the car: sport but easy to daily drive. I've got 35.000 km out of them, although my car is manual. I've driven in the mountains in cold, rain, bit of snow, hot weather, and this tyres always felt sure footed, even during the last mm of thread life. The braking performance is impressive. Can't complain about noise or comfort, given the performance you get from them, it is something you need to understand when buying performance vehicles, otherwise just buy a regular Golf with 16"...

Factory tyre for the golf r. No real issues with them, they tick all boxes for ride quality, tread wear, wet and dry grip and handling. Road noise was slightly noisier but overall a good tyre that did the job. At the cost of probably choose an alternative for replacement.

The tyre is only on the car because the pirelli is hard to find, the tyre is ok when driving around for a daily but when thrashing you don’t get good feedback from the tyre for road feel, they only last max 25000kms and that was on cords. I believe the life is appalling for such a high price

These were stock on my 2018 Golf R Wagon. The rears have worn well seeing me through 30K.Km, while the fronts were gone around the 15K.km mark - not surprising given the demands this car puts on them. These grip incredibly well in all conditions. Experience is road only (no track) but I've pushed through some hard corners and had very little slip. The biggest downside is their comfort - they really don't deal with the hard road surfaces of Sydney streets, have not protected my rims from sharp edged pot holes and 2 of them have splits in the tyre wall rubber mass (no structural damage, just superficial).

I am now on my second set of these tyres. They handle excellent in the wet and the dry. I've had another brand of tyre on this car, but after some severe aquaplaning in the wet on the freeway, they were quickly replaced with these OE ContiSport 5Ps. I travel a lot on roads with tight winding bends and I feel comfortable and confident with these tyres, whether it's a sunny day or raining. Performance is not cancelled due to rain. I believe good tyres are worth paying the extra coin for, regardless of which car we drive, because ultimately they are the final piece of equipment that keep us on the road.

These tyres were on the car when I bought the car. With previous tyres I have had similar wet and dry performance, but generally ran out of wet performance well before the end of tyre life. These continentals are now down to the wear indicators and wet performance is still 100%. I am impressed.

This particular tyre has been  in production for a while, technology is not as updated as current run flats. Really shown through being one of the first run flat developments. Fairly solid tyre, excellent tread life having 70k on them with 3mm tread on each tyre wearing consistently from front to rear. These tyres make for quite a harsh, stiff ride especially over humps and potholes. Fairly good grip in the dry, not so good as tyre slip occurs of a standstill in the wet if you don't make a concerted effort to take off slowly and smoothly. Would not buy these tyres again and either opt for traditional tyres or the newer generation run flats which are said to be a cut above.
