Maxxis Logo
Showcasing the Maxxis RAZR AT811! A worthy companion to the RAZR MT772. Engineered using the know-how Maxxis has gained from years of research in the off-road and all-terrain tyre markets, the Maxxis RAZR AT811 is cutting edge in every way!

Key Features

  • Blade-shaped tread block design ensures excellent off-road traction and water drainage in wet weather conditions.
  • Aggressive ‘side biter’ lugs assist in providing optimal traction in muddy conditions and protect the sidewall from cuts and punctures.
  • Unique shoulder lug design assists with traction in heavy off-road conditions – especially when being driven at lower inflation pressures.
  • ‘Saw edge’ shoulder blocks enhance traction in harsh off-road conditions.
  • A unique stone-ejecting shoulder groove reduces the possibility of stones lodging between tread blocks and damaging the tyre casing.
  • Dual-layer high tension cap ply ensures excellent cornering ability on and off the road, as well as further improving puncture resistance.
  • The high-strength polyester carcass construction improves cornering ability and ensures optimal puncture resistance.
  • A high elasticity lower sidewall filler compound results in excellent ride comfort – especially on unpaved roads.
  • The 3- ply sidewall construction provides further puncture resistance in off-road conditions.

Bought 4 new maxxis razor for my ute after 6 months started wearing I contacted the dealer a 5 months ago and haven't done anything about it, when I got them they said it's got 60000km warranty but it's bullshit didn't even make the 10km. It's just waiste of money not recommended to anyone, I had before them way cheaper brand and lasted me 3 years. It's really disappointing 😞

after being on gravel roads for 20 years we have tested lots of AT tyres. I have not had a set of AT's that are so quiet, comfortable and grippy in the wet, not enough km to know how they will be when they are at the end of their life. No chuncks taken out on white gravel roads, unreal traction in the sand for a pretty aggressive tyre. Wear has been very even with regular balancing. reccomend these tyres to everyone so far great value for money.

A good solid all terrain! Good on the road and surprisingly good in the wet. Solid performance on the dirt, they travel a minimum of 20km of dirt road daily. They have not so far not chipped and cut like some other brands. Good off-road performance. Tread wear seems to be ok for the kms traveled considering their harder use.

Had these on my work ute for 5500kms and they are still going strong with 6mm tread remaining. I cannot believe how good these are as an allrounder. They work nearly as good as a mud tyre off-road and like are highway tyre on the road. Hands down the Best AT tyre I have driven on to date.

Just Driven 25000kms in 7 months. Highway, gravel and 4wd ( beach, rock, water crossings) towing 2 t camper in NSW, SA, WA and NT. GRR, Kulumbaru,, Bungles, Pilbara, desert and beaches. PSI from 45 down to 15 on sand. Tyres were LT rated. Strong side walls . Performed brilliantly in all environments. Not one puncture! Highly recommend.

Very impressive tyres, I decided to try these as my usual preferred tyre was unavailable in Aus and the road hazard warranty is what sealed the deal for me over another brand. First impressions was really amazing on my heavy land cruiser, very smooth and exceptionally quiet. While I had my doubts about trying something new I was soon convinced that I made the right choice as a daily driver and a few trips to Frasier proved these tyres very capable on soft sand and gravel. On road characteristics are nearly on par with highway tyres and I had absolute confidence in the wet as a posed to previous tyres I still haven’t experienced any under steer on tight corners and roundabouts like I used to have. Off road on Dry gravel, dirt, soft sand and rocks are fantastic with very little damage like slits, lug tears and gouging however they do hold on to stones more and the inner guards cop a flogging when they eject with a bit of pace. The side walls hold up nice even tho they do bag out a bit past the side wall tread leaving the unprotected parts exposed, but I have had no issues. They go good enough in mud to get buy but really don’t compare to MT’s as they do clog up and get a bit slippery but that was expected as they are AT’s still they have got me through everything I’ve come up against. Because I had the road hazard warranty which fixes or replace and damage for 2 years I really pushed these tyres hard and ran them as low as 14psi a few times to test em out and I couldn’t break em. After about 20k they have only just worn down the crowns( that’s about 2-3mm) so I expect these will last easy 80-100k with the driving I do. They have firmed up a bit now but they are still quiet and still performing like new and I rotate them after about 10k I’m very pleased and would definitely buy again. On road I run them at 42psi and the cruiser drives beautiful. On average off road fully loaded I run 24-18psi depending on conditions.

Had maxxis victors maz v1 for a few years on my XR6 and where abused big time but held up very well. Now for my 4x4 I’ve gone with the maxxis razors for the same reason for they have held on well on other utes that are used on constant gravel roads for work. 3 ply sides walls are great for tassies bog holes and rocks. Wet performance is 9/10 even with 400nms at the boots from my tuned triton

I did a lot of research when buying my new set of tyres. Looking for an AT with an aggressive look but also great performance off-road particularly on gravel roads as I travel them everyday. It was actually the dealers recommendation that sold me on these tyres. For the first 10,000km I was extremely impressed; quiet, great wear, great traction on gravel and in the wet especially with the light read end in my Ute. However at 15,000km rotation i noticed a substantial amount of scalloping on the tyres. I made a conscious effort to ensure my pressures were kept spot on with my tyres about every 3-2 trips to the fuel station which is roughly once a month and now after rotating at 20,000km the scalloping is beyond belief. I honestly doubt I will even get 40,000km out of these tyres. Disappointed to say the least, I will continue my search for an AT that can take the hit of unsealed roads.

Did a lot of research into All Terrain tyres recently as we were due a set. Falken Wildpeaks we’re the event darling of the 4x4 fraternity, but I’ve read there has been a compound change and not quite as good as what they were. KO2, still best looking AT but poor on wet bitumen. Really wanted the Toyo AT3s, but Toyo Australia advised no release date yet in our country, though have been available in the US for about 3 years. Ended up buying the Maxxis RAZRs 811. They have changed the way our car feels and drives, amazing. No noise and very similar construction to the KO2, would highly recommend.

Gave these tyres a shot over the famous K02's because ive heard some good reviews for them, I've had the set on for around 20k-30k and have put them through some serious mud, bog holes, dust and coronations then back to the black top highway for the working week. They are great at everything so long as you remember to adjust your tyre pressures accordingly.
