Just horrible on wet bitumen. Everything else was great. Took them off after 30000 because I was sick of scaring my family when it rained.

Not good on the rain!
I don't do that much off-road, and when I do, I usually stick to sand tracks and your average national park unpaved road. Most of my driving is in the city and on the highway, so I was looking for a tire that would fit those 2 activities.
Got these for my FJ Cruiser after wanting to try something different from the stock Dunlop AT22.
Initially these tires were ok - way noisier than expected but that's the trade off when moving to more off-road tires. They handle well in dry conditions, good grip and steady breaking.
In the wet, oh boy that's a different story. City driving/highway, they handle ok in straight line. but as soon as you come to a corner where the G forces push the car outwards the corner, the tyres will lose grip and electronic stability controls in the car engage. Think about when you are coming from a high-speed lane into a low speed side street or when you are going through a tight corner with some inclination.
The other situation where you'll lose grip in the wet is: if you have come to a full stop on an inclined road, then start moving again, your wells will simply skid and again, ESP will kick in. Engaging 4wd helps, but who wants to drive with 4wd in the city every-time it rains.
If you are like me, and you keep yourself to 80/90% city highway driving - look for something else. I'm going back to the AT22 or the Yokohamas GEOLANDAR H/T G056,
