The S/TMAXX was developed after three years of testing in Australia’s outback to give you the toughest all-terrain performance. Coupled with the famous Armor-Tek3 construction, the S/T MAXX will tackle anything Australia has.
Key Features

- On top of high tensile body plies, the S/T MAXX features Armor-Tek3 Construction - an additional third ply on an 8° angle. Unique Armor-Tek3 Construction is engineered to give you over 2.5 times* more tear and impact damage resistance by reducing the rubber gaps by 50% to give you peace of mind when driving off-road. *Compared to standard 2-ply tyres.
- Silica and Natural Rubber Compound is uniquely formulated combining silica with natural rubber to reduce cut and chip off-road and improve wet traction on-road.

Got them because i needed an aggressive 4wd tyre that could also be driven on the road. Absolute beast of a tyre, being able to compete with some far more aggressive mud tyres. No compromise for on road handling. Bit noisy though but thats just a tradeoff the more aggressive your tyre is

Really good tyres, have started to wear quickly now im down to last 20%. Good pattern and good hard compound. have used in mud and very hard sharp rocky conditions. Durable. would buy again. do a lot of gravel and hwy driving. may try falken, nitto or splash the cash on Mickey T atzp3.

At the start these tyres where amazing but with a few thousand ks on them started to wear like crap and get noisy but these to perform excellent off road

Good all rounders, getting a new 4wd, have never tried Maxxis but have only heard great things about them. Coopers are good for offroad and have never let me down, better than the Khumo muddies I used to run.

They are a good tyre. Great on sand. Pretty good in mud and good on the highway. Not noisy when new but get louder the further they wear.

Tyres have been great, exceeded expectations. Nearing 80,000km, as per warranty and still have 50% remaining tread. Very little towing but way more onroad driving than recommended 50% road/sand, 50% dirt/mud. Will be buying these again.

Very poor in wet conditions, clog up very quickly in mud, road noise is extreme. Lose roundness quickly and need to rotated regularly. Happy I didnt buy them myself as they were on the car brand new when I got it

Cooper st maxx tyres I brought for a trip from Victoria up to Darwin and doing sightseeing and off roading along the way. I do drive my car hard and have fun but also am cautious and rotated my tyres and ensure that my car is maintained to a high standard. Positive, the tyre looks great, side walls are thick and can take a beating, cooper offered the best customer service and the tyres will do a lot of kms. Negative, they tyres are so slippery in the wet that it’s dangerous, the tyres chewed out from rocks very quickly, they were quite rough to ride with even when the pressure was dropped down, they needed to be rotated every 5 thousand kms or less which is an inconvenience when doing a long trip, they needed to be rebalanced at 12-13 thousand because they’d worn a bit funny. All in all an ok tyre that will do a lot of kms but needs to be rotated and balanced constantly and are not overly impressive considering it’s a very well known brand.
