The S/TMAXX was developed after three years of testing in Australia’s outback to give you the toughest all-terrain performance. Coupled with the famous Armor-Tek3 construction, the S/T MAXX will tackle anything Australia has.
Key Features
- Micro-Gauge Sipes reduce cutting and chipping whilst improving traction in the wet, giving you enhanced stability and longevity.
- Enhanced Buttress Design provides additional off-road traction and a rugged appearance, giving you abrasion resistance and sidewall protection.
- Stone Ejector Ribs and Varied Channels easily eject stones and gravel, protecting the carcass from stone drilling and maintaining a clear tread for enhanced rough road traction.
- On top of high tensile body plies, the S/T MAXX features Armor-Tek3 Construction - an additional third ply on an 8° angle. Unique Armor-Tek3 Construction is engineered to give you over 2.5 times* more tear and impact damage resistance by reducing the rubber gaps by 50% to give you peace of mind when driving off-road. *Compared to standard 2-ply tyres.
- Silica and Natural Rubber Compound is uniquely formulated combining silica with natural rubber to reduce cut and chip off-road and improve wet traction on-road.

After 2 sets never again!! Destroyed 2 of these pox tyres on the Canning Stock Route. Sidewalls kept tearing. Yes tearing. Got the usual brush off from Cooper even after being a loyal customer. Avoid these tyres at all costs!!

Great tyre but could be better on wet sealed roads. I have covered many kms (80,000+) on and off road. Never punctured, never distorted, very little chipping (if any). The cost is also higher than many others. The tread looks aggressive (awesome) for an AT 4WD tyre. I might buy them again but want to try another type.

Always good offroad but sometimes lets me down in the wet, but also cant justify the cost to wear ratio for the tyres for my next set, do wear quite also aswell. Coopers have amazing tread patterns which let the dirt and sand out of the tire quite easy, overall always been happy with there offroad capabilites, just the price of them i cant justify.

Very quite and for how aggressive they still are as an all terrain tyre. Performs just as well as a muddy off road but still does excellent mileage on the highways

Any one who is not familiar with the Kuranda range road, it is extremely slippery and dangerous in the wet. I've tried other well rated off road tyres and nothing comes close to these coopers. I thought with such an aggressive tread they would not do the job but I couldn't be more wrong. Totally impressed and won't bother trying to find better.

Great trusted tyres. Always buy Cooper. Happy to pay more as we know we are always going to get to our destinatiom safely. Feels great on the road and reliable, which we need as we toe a 23ft van.
