The S/TMAXX was developed after three years of testing in Australia’s outback to give you the toughest all-terrain performance. Coupled with the famous Armor-Tek3 construction, the S/T MAXX will tackle anything Australia has.
Key Features
- Micro-Gauge Sipes reduce cutting and chipping whilst improving traction in the wet, giving you enhanced stability and longevity.
- Enhanced Buttress Design provides additional off-road traction and a rugged appearance, giving you abrasion resistance and sidewall protection.
- Stone Ejector Ribs and Varied Channels easily eject stones and gravel, protecting the carcass from stone drilling and maintaining a clear tread for enhanced rough road traction.
- On top of high tensile body plies, the S/T MAXX features Armor-Tek3 Construction - an additional third ply on an 8° angle. Unique Armor-Tek3 Construction is engineered to give you over 2.5 times* more tear and impact damage resistance by reducing the rubber gaps by 50% to give you peace of mind when driving off-road. *Compared to standard 2-ply tyres.
- Silica and Natural Rubber Compound is uniquely formulated combining silica with natural rubber to reduce cut and chip off-road and improve wet traction on-road.

I got these tyres second hand as they went around Australia once around 6-8k km. Still looked new when I got them except 2 had a tiny bit of scolloping so put them on the back and driven them in nicely. I’ve done 15k on them now an still look new! Off road they are excellent an never once been bogged. On the hwy I can’t hear them at all an I honestly think I’ll get well over the 100k on them.

I love coopers St maxx up to my third set
Had bfgs before at and mtz.
Coopers are quite and give better life. I do lots of gravel in outback these are way less prone to chipping than bfgs. Never ever had a flat tyre in approx 200000ks. They ware evenly on all four corners.
Yes they cost more but well worth the piece of mind.

I can not fault my cooper st Maxx tyres in any way shape or form. They give me the confidence in all weather conditions aswell as being an extremely capable tyre for off road use.
Road noise has never been a problem which is very rare for an aggressive all terrain tyre.
I would have no problem buying these tyres again.

Really good off road and actually surprised me on the black top! For such an aggressive tread, it’s surprisingly quiet on the blacktop with plenty of grip

We do alot of 4wding from beach work, outback to getting down and dirty in the mud. Spent 1.5 months at the Cape in 2018 and the Cooper ST MAXX performed better then expected, we done everything bar shotgun with a camper and went everywhere.

I've had the Cooper STMaxx tyres on now for a little over 35,000km's. I drive a very heavy Ute which is load to a little under 3T everyday. I have great wear so far except for a little shoulder wear until I had a better wheel alignment. They handle very well in wet which was unlike a set of coppers I had 10 years ago. They perform brilliantly when I drop the pressures for off road especially on sand when I run them at 12psi. They have no chipping for rocky roads. Would definitely recommend. Only negative is there is a bit of road noise.

Have driven alot of different terrain. Rocks in the Flinders Ranges, Victorian high country, many beachs and sand dunes gravel roads. Been around Tasmania , Coffs Harbour, up to Gladstone in Qld. Getting a bit loud now but I have been slack with rotation and pressure's. Never had a puncture wearing very well no chips. Have to let them right down in sand as the sidewalls are so stiff. Great tyre.
