The S/TMAXX was developed after three years of testing in Australia’s outback to give you the toughest all-terrain performance. Coupled with the famous Armor-Tek3 construction, the S/T MAXX will tackle anything Australia has.

Key Features

Micro-Gauge Sipes reduce cutting and chipping whilst improving traction in the wet, giving you enhanced stability and longevity.
Enhanced Buttress Design provides additional off-road traction and a rugged appearance, giving you abrasion resistance and sidewall protection.
Stone Ejector Ribs and Varied Channels easily eject stones and gravel, protecting the carcass from stone drilling and maintaining a clear tread for enhanced rough road traction.
On top of high tensile body plies, the S/T MAXX features Armor-Tek3 Construction - an additional third ply on an 8° angle. Unique Armor-Tek3 Construction is engineered to give you over 2.5 times* more tear and impact damage resistance by reducing the rubber gaps by 50% to give you peace of mind when driving off-road. *Compared to standard 2-ply tyres.
Silica and Natural Rubber Compound is uniquely formulated combining silica with natural rubber to reduce cut and chip off-road and improve wet traction on-road.

The Cooper ST MAX I have fitted my Troopie not only make the stance of me vehicle look better but provide the durability and longevity that I require. I have conquered over 220k KMs with Cooper's and I would not fit anything else. I live remote so I pay more but in the long run I save and I know I can rely on them to get me there and back. Do yourself a favour??

This has been my 3rd set in a row, I've had a great run with them. My only problem (puncture) was my fault for driving too hard on a freshly graded gravel road with highway pressure, the fist sized pebbles got me ?. I describe the tread as an aggressive all terrain and as muddies are too aggressive for my liking, it is ideal for my needs. They bag well for sand, self clean in the mud and don't chip in harsh rock climbing. I've probably just convinced myself to buy my 4th set soon.

We bought these tyres not long after they were released and the off road performance over most terrains was good. Rocky and heavily rutted tracks, sand and moderate mud no problems, fast gravel likewise. Not one puncture in 95000 Kms which is as much about adjusting Tyre Pressures for the terrain as the type of tyre fitted. However on Bitumen they have become progressively noisier as the tread has worn down. Hence as we are slowing down on outback travel we are unlikely to fit another set.

This is the third set of Coopers that have been on my Prado. I got 97000kms out of the last set and imagine I'll get similar out of these. They have given me confidence when off road. They've taken my cross country in remote Northern Territory across razor sharp rocky ridges to muddy and rough Tasmania! I'm impressed with their on-road handling too. Great and grippy on wet slippery road with great handling in the dry as well. My only criticism is road noise, but it's a small price to pay for these tyres. I'd certainly recommend them if you're doing some off reading and can live with the tyre noise on sealed roads. I give them a 9/10!

Great treat depth. Grips in rock and sand. Long lasting and quiet on the black top. Tread wear is even. Doesn't get the 80k KMs as indicated but good for 60k all the time. Value for money

Very good tyres! Great for gravel and off-road whilst still being smooth and comfortable on the highway. A small amount of road noise can be noticed when on the highway, but the grip, traction and function of these tyres in both dry and wet off-road conditions is second to none! If your looking for tyres that will cover everything your doing whilst remaining 100% safe I would definately recommend these. Also have great sidewall strength to decrease punctures and tears due to rocks, stick and anything else you can think of! Have been using these tyres for 12 years, have tried others but always come back!!

I love these tyres. Value for money they are brilliant. Comes with 80k mileage warranty have had these before and you do the correct tyre maintanence they will comfortably do 100k +

Good tyre all round. They use a harder compound so when deflating for off road use you have to deflate an extra couple of psi than other tyres. This is to prevent damage to the tyres.
