The S/TMAXX was developed after three years of testing in Australia’s outback to give you the toughest all-terrain performance. Coupled with the famous Armor-Tek3 construction, the S/T MAXX will tackle anything Australia has.
Key Features
- Micro-Gauge Sipes reduce cutting and chipping whilst improving traction in the wet, giving you enhanced stability and longevity.
- Enhanced Buttress Design provides additional off-road traction and a rugged appearance, giving you abrasion resistance and sidewall protection.
- Stone Ejector Ribs and Varied Channels easily eject stones and gravel, protecting the carcass from stone drilling and maintaining a clear tread for enhanced rough road traction.
- On top of high tensile body plies, the S/T MAXX features Armor-Tek3 Construction - an additional third ply on an 8° angle. Unique Armor-Tek3 Construction is engineered to give you over 2.5 times* more tear and impact damage resistance by reducing the rubber gaps by 50% to give you peace of mind when driving off-road. *Compared to standard 2-ply tyres.
- Silica and Natural Rubber Compound is uniquely formulated combining silica with natural rubber to reduce cut and chip off-road and improve wet traction on-road.

These Tyres have suited me well off and on road
In sandy conditions they never let me down
On a trip with some friends to Fraser Island I was the only one to not get bogged and the rest had aggressive mud terrains

75000 km and still going strong, plenty of tread left and have been great off road. Good all round tyre and happy to recommend. Wet performance has been good and off road they inspire confidence to handle everything I’ve thrown at them.

Lived with these tyres for 7 years and 68000km (set of 5). Rotated, balanced and wheels aligned every 10000km. About 60% bitumen road, balance being sand, off road tracks, and some gravel work in the mid west of WA. I found them VERY noisy from day 1. Good traction off road on gravel, OK on sand (but not great), good off road. Very dangerous on road in the wet! Dry on road acceptable. Have suffered chipping on all tyres and a sidewall split on one. 3mm tread left but are cracking between the tread blocks and signs of decay on sidewalls near rim. They were the most expensive brand when I bought them, expected something better due to marketing hype. The 80000km warranty is a complete joke (should have got 100,000km on 5 tyres, got 68,000km and they are now very tired!). Won't buy Coopers again.

These tyres perform really well in all environments, I am hard on them and they have not let me down. I travel in a variety of conditions and need good performance in mud, sand, rocks and snow, I am really impressed with the overall performance and durability of the Coopers.

I lurched my prado 1 year ago. It had the cooper discovery tyres fitted. I am extremely happy with how the Cooper tyres handle in all conditions from on road to the job site in all conditions, from muddy, gravel to sandy sites.
