Hankook Dynapro AT2 Xtreme Reviews

I used to run BF Goodrich KO2s ( see my earlier review on these ) but the KO2s are discontinued. Decided to try Hankook instead. It’s early days but I’ve had no issues with these. More quieter and grippier than the KO2s on road and in the wet and ive found them just as good with moderate off road usage. Not as aggressive tread pattern but quite durable.  Got a great deal on 4 tyres fitted from Goodyear Tyre/ auto  So far so good

Only done 4,000km in the new Tasman but coming from a Prado with Dunlop Grandtrek AT5's which I went with because mostly highway and worried about noise of true AT.  These came as OE. I always run my tyres as per placard so pretty low at 32 unless going beach I go to 21.  I am not sure if its the Tasman cabin or the Tyres but it's so damn quiet, less noise than the much more highway orientated Grandtrek AT5's - which makes me think its the difference in acoustic isolation in Prado vs. Tasman. In the short amount of kilometers I've done all types of surfaces highway, dirt, 4wd, beach, wet etc. and they seem to be doing great. I'm not a hard core car or 4wd guy. 

Done a full loop of Oz with these. Very happy. Nothing outstanding but no complaints. Been on sand, dirt, mud and a lot of highway. Works everywhere and held up great. All you need from a a/t tyre

My first Hankooks were these tyres in a non LT, they were ok. This set of tyres are still grippy in the wet after 65000 ks, which is amazing TBH. I'm sure I would have got more out of them if I wasn't lazy and had rotated them.My only gripe is that as a light truck tyre running at 50psi day to day on sand at 15psi they don't bag out like a normal tyre, the bagging is up nearer the rim not in the middle of the side wall. Maybe just the stronger sidewall down rear the tread?Next week I will buy 4 more, really couldn't ask for more from a AT tyre.
