OEM, 7 years old and like most other Ventus Prime 2 comments on this site, can't really say anything bad about them apart from perhaps road noise. Equally nothing exceptional about them. Just passed the pink slip (so still reasonable amount of tread but a few little chunks out due to all the recent potholes) but after a lot of reserch decided to change anyway to Continental Techcontact TC6 SUV's (cheaper than the Prime 2's) and what a difference. Early days but noise level and comfort a big step up and hopefully they continue to be good.

These tyres are the OEM tyre supplied new, dry performance was good however wet performance wasn’t great and got unpredictable when tyres got down to 5mm tread. The new updated i30 n line comes with Michelin Ps4 which I think are a much better tyre

Brought these tyres Hankook Prime 2 225/45R17 on 02/02/2020, have done 15000 klms on them, regularly check Tyre pressures are correct at least once a fortnight, rotate them every 10000 klms, so in this case only 1 rotation, already warn out, and i am a conservative driver, as i use my car for work deliveries, worst investment, WASTE OF HARD EARNED MONEY

Way too noisy. Still fair bit of tread left, but they spoil my enjoyment of an otherwise great car to the extent that I will be replacing them in the very near future. After reviewing other brands, Michelin Primacy 4s are my most likely choice.

These are a horrible choice for driving speeds over 80pkh. The road noise is the worst I have ever experienced out of a set of tyres. It sounds like you are in a jet with horrible loud drone. Never will I buy hankook ever again!

Tyres came standard with car bought new. Am about to have the 50k service done and they're likely to tell me that I need to replace the tyres, not that the indicators are showing but it's slippery sometimes on the road in the wet. As a front wheel drive car I know it's more likely to slip, they tyres need to be appropriate to allow for that here. Noisy on the road, shouldn't be wearing like they are.

Very comfortable with low road noise. Dry grip is great with occasional drives in the mountains and wet traction if fine with our heavy summer rain storms. They are wearing well and seem like they are lasting very well

Bought new with I30 SR, at 30,000 Kms road noise apparent, we are at 52,000 Kms road noise is ridiculous and tyres are very close to being replaced. Would not buy them again.
