Good in the dry, but overly slippery in the wet and on painted lines. Uncontrollable wheel spin off the line on a 1.5L little Honda Jazz when it's wet. I've had two sets of these over ten years or so and bought them twice because they are a brand name and were a good price at the time. Won't be getting them again as the wet weather performance is scarily poor even when they were new. They are a tough tyre and do last for a long time though! Only ever picked up one puncture in 100k km. Currently looking for another brand name budget alternative for replacement.

Yes well I've been driving for thirty five years and had many cars and tyres and have to say these are the absolute worst wet weather tyres I have ever used, bought them from a dealer that doesn't normally stock them they hand balled them cheap to me (probably coz nobody wanted them) and now can't get rid of them, I have had cheap tyres that have had better wet weather handling than these.First and last time I buy Hankook ever. Would have given no stars if possible.

Definitely capable and forgiving in dry conditions, I've been reasonably pleased with the Ventus V2's. Unfortunately, I've found them to be as skittish as a startled brumby in the wet, especially on roundabouts or sharp corners. Indeed, I was shocked that tyres with full tread could be so poor in such conditions and many's the time I've envisaged my car and I careering sideways like Bambi on ice whenever the weather takes a turn for the worse.

These tyres perform OK with all, except the wet, where the slightest bit of water will cause a spin. Might be a bit "hairy" with rear wheel drive.

Had these tyres on for 3.5 years now. Once the tread reached about 50% I noticed the wet weather performance started to suffer. The tyres are great wearing & lasting, dry performance is good. Today they still have about 25% remaining but I really need to get them replaced because the wet weather performance is now too dangerous and I don't feel safe letting my wife drive the vehicle.

These are a great tyre for a casual urban driver. The tread has lasted so much longer than expected-great for money-and the tyres themselves just grip around corners and roundabouts with no issues. 100% safe if you like taking friends and family around in your car. You can definitely rely on the performance of these mid-range, good-handling, economic tyres.

Solid tires for both wet and dry condition. Done right around 25,000 with them and looks to be a good for another 20,000kms left to go.

These tyres are not a good match to a mx5. They lack grip and feel. They understeer often and are very skittish across rough surfaces. In the wet they are down right dangerous. I can't wait to get them off. Very disappointed.
