They have a 280 tread wear rating and are worn oit at 19,000k. My front tyres ( hankook ) have a tread wear rating of 500. They last 40,000k. Hankook do not offer a harder tyre. Not impressed. I drive very much within speed limits and take it easy.

Excellent tyre all round and great value for money. Good performance in Wet and Dry and a balanced feel when pushed hard. Wear rate is good and high quality product and made to high standards. I've used 3 different tyres of Hankooks over the last 10 years and rate them highly. I do drive very hard at times and been a great tyre.

Tread down to 1.8 mm after 11 months, on both front tyres, even wear.  Dealer is puzzled.  No dings, alignment is right. Just awful  mileage out of a supposed UHP tyre

In stark contrast to the high performance yet relatively short-life Bridgestones this set replaced, the Hankooks are noticeably much less assured in the wet and handling generally is not as dynamic or accommodating of driver idiosyncrasies. In slippery conditions, whereas the former seemed as likely to lose traction as a tenacious limpet on the hull of Mooloolaba trawler, the replacements occasionally display the skittish tendencies of a fidgety Outback Brumby on a day trip to the big smoke. Obviously, after but a few weeks on the car, only time will tell how well these will wear, but I'm hoping longevity will be better than average. In short, given the price as part of one of those ubiquitous Buy 3 Get the 4th Free promotions, my first experience of Hankooks, from the reputable Seoul-based company, suggests they provide decent value for money overall without my having had to plumb the murky depths of lesser-known brands from China.

The tyres have served their purpose. With so many to choose from these days, I am uncertain if I would purchase this brand again; it largely depends on price.

Really appreciate good value for money and product quality.. I am able to drive hard and when family in the car can appreciate the smooth running and quiet that they are.. Cheers
