Pirelli P ZERO™ ROSSO Reviews
In the luxury and sports car segment many sophisticated electronic vehicle safety and comfort management systems are being fitted as standard. To answer this evolution and the increasingly stringent legislation limiting acoustic pollution, Pirelli has created the PZero Rosso: a comfortable and quiet ultra-high performance tire with no trade off.
Key Features
- P Zero Rosso™ Asimmetrico: four continuous longitudinal grooves - Improved safety and control in potential aquaplaning situations.
- P Zero Rosso™ Asimmetrico: asymmetric pattern design with compact external area - High levels of handling.

Quiet and comfortable performance tyre that will hang on when pushed hard. They handle the massive torque of the V8 diesel easily and perform well under hard braking too. While these are not meant for gravel roads, they are predictable and controlled once traction limits have been reached. P Zeros are a good choice if mostly on sealed roads, but Verde's are better on the loose stuff. They have done almost 40k now and require replacement, but thats quite reasonable for a V8 SUV often driven in a more spirited fashion.

These tyres have been mostly used in city driving and whilst we've never lost traction in the wet, it sometimes seem that the wheels will momentarily lose grip under hard acceleration (a bit like a track skipping) which I don't recall our previous tyres doing.

The p zero is the only tire that I would put on the 930, it is the only tire that can handle the speed and torque of the 930 i have tried others but ended up putting the p zero's back on, best tire in my opinion.

Good tyres, but with the way the car is driven they're probably not necessary. Just came with the car, but would maybe get something more affordable when it comes time to replace them.

Great tyres for use on a Mercedes Benz, after some wear having travelled many kilometres with the tyres, and due to the weight of the car, they can slide when breaking quickly in the wet, but otherwise have great grip, and great comfort. Definitely helped increase my confidence on the road! Worth taking them for a spin!

Car is driven on freeway during the week and winding country roads at "enthusiastic" speeds on weekends (some hooning included). I had Pilot Sports on my previous car, the Pirellis seem to be a much better wearing tyre but this is at the expense of grip. While these tyres have lasted a long time, it's very easy to overwhelm them and lose traction at the back under cornering and acceleration, particularly in the wet - I found this out the first time it rained and the car tried to swap ends going up a hill.On the positive side, they're very stable and predictable at go-directly-to-jail speeds. I'd definitely buy them again if I wanted longer wearing tyres, especially everyday freeway use, but for grip I'd go back to the Pilot Sports.
