Not the greatest set of tyres I’ve owned. Didn’t wear very well, and were prone to getting punctures. The tread life and side walls were great when first bought, but after about a month they were probably have as strong. In the dry they would grip to the road but when wet they tended to slide about a fair bit. All in all not my personal preference and I probably wouldn’t recommend them to someone.

Majority country hardtop and gravel roads use, 15% in 4wd. Performed well in all conditions up to medium/black 4wd rated tracks. Great wear up to 80-100k in country. Will upgrade to more aggressive tread for wet off-road, snow and ice. Happy with performance and value!

The pirelli is a bit too conservative to be a 4wd tyre. Stock standard tread and tread pattern to even call them All terrain is an oxy moron! They are wearing well but definitely not too hot in the bush.

After purchasing these tyres my isuzu felt like a totally new car to drive. In fact it drove better than when I picked it up from new. The ride is smooth and quiet. On trips to Fraser Island they performed perfectly. I would like to upgrade to the next size up however the dam things don't wear out. I am at 53000k and still have 50% wear left according to the guys at MyCar Auto.

The pirelli scorpions have little to no road noise, and the tire wear is quiet good.
The front tires have worn more than the rear because I haven't rotated them .
They have worked well in all the different types of road and off road conditions that I have put them through.

I had these put on from new, with the slightly bigger size since the stock 245's seemed puny when practically every other dual cab ute runs 265's. I would've gone the 70 series profile, which would increase by 53mm over standard, but chickened out since theoretically such an increase makes your vehicle unroadworthy for some reason that 3mm of gain seems unlikely to trigger.
I chose this tyre based on a few reviews of Amarok's I'd read from overseas where they came with these tyres stock. Everyone raved about them for the type of use I was predicting: about 80 - 90% road use, but when the 10 - 20% is needed for offroad they do the trick.
So far - in 2 years and 20K of travel, they've been flawless. Sure, they don't look as chunky as a set of KO2's but this is a mostly on-road car and they're quiet, grippy and long lasting (thus far) in that condition, plus can get me through some mud when needed.
About the only reason I'd change them is if I decide to ignore the VS13 rule and get new 18in wheels running 285/65's, and then I might consider Scorpion ATR Plus since they look a little bit tougher.

Ive had my 2013 turbo diesel Exy from new. The OE tyres lasted 46000Ks which was disappointing to me. They had trouble handling the Exy's torque, even in the dry in 2wd mode. In auto AWD they did much better but still had obvious 'squirm' from side to side when pedal went to the metal and the AWD engaged. When towing a light caravan (1300kg Jayco) this became an issue as it needed just that bit f extra attention.
I replaced these with the Pirelli Scorpion ATs, which have now done over 90,000 ks and are ready for replacement.
The Pirellis have been a marked improvement.
My driving has been the same for both sets. Its been city driving during the week then a 400klm round trip (95% highway) from Brisbane/Gympie on most weekends and occasional excursions onto dirt and back roads with very little genuine "off road".
The Pirelli's have been better in 2wd and excellent when auto AWD is selected. When the auto AWD has engaged it has been imperceptible.
I now leave the car in 'auto AWD' mode permanently and it all works well.
I have only suffered one puncture, which unfortunately was on a spike which meant the tyre had to be replaced.
Significantly, the dealers I contacted couldn't supply an AT so I had to buy an AT-Plus which has 'chunkier' tread.
I have ended up with one AT-Plus and three ATs which is far from satisfactory, but the alternative was to buy 4 new tyres when the rest had (at that time) another 10-15 thou left.
The situation will be rectified soon as I replace a full set.
In the meantime the AT-Plus has seemed to me to be noticeably noisier on the highway. Its a little disconcerting as you'd have to wonder what it would be like with 4 of them.
Also the AT Plus has a different shape ('flatter') with the same tyre pressure which means running different pressures on the rear tyres.
Overall though I have been very happy with them and would certainly recommend them to others with similar use in mind.
I have included a photo of the AT-Plus (more side on) and the ATs with 90,000ks (more front on) for interest.
